  1. Meal time is fun when there is good food and.good conversation….and when my 2year old doesnt fight against eating.

    1. Kim, having the kids cook with you is definitely one of the best things we can do as parents. Teaches them essential skills and they learn to love all kinds of food.

  2. Mealtime is fun when the kids help make it…lotsa laughs in the kitchen and they get so excited to present and eat their creations! 🙂

  3. We have a family ritual of going round the table and telling each other what the highlights and lowlights or our day were – it’s a great way to stay connected.

  4. We often have a crossword going that we all contribute to – it gives us something to talk about and we always end up learning something new too – which is a bonus!

  5. We put music on and play a game where we have to guess the song and the artist – the winner doesn’t have to do the dishes!

  6. Most of the time just sharing the stories from our days at school/work provides enough hilarity. But if stories aren’t forthcoming we chat about what we might do on “family day” (Sunday) – that always get’s everyone smiling 🙂

  7. I love the way kids think and the things they say. These cards look like so much fun! Thanks for the chance to win.

  8. Meal times are a lot more fun when they are interactive or when everyone in the family gets a chance to participate/personalize their plates! If I make a core family dish, I put out a little tray with different condiments that everyone can use to make their dinner unique! Or I chose meals, like tacos, where everyone gets to top their own. 🙂

  9. This sounds very interesting. I’m always looking for new ways to spark up the conversation at the dinner table!

  10. Meal time is always more fun for me when I am sitting at a table with other people! Many of my meals are spent alone because of different schedules, so I love to be able to sit and talk with others 🙂

  11. Dinner is fun when my husband compliments the food and my son eats his whole plate 🙂 When we want to celebrate something we do cheers not only with glasses but with a tiny bite of food…meaning that he and I would make the piece of bread high five each other..if that makes any sense..hahaha. it does not get messy and I think it’s cute 😛
