FoodBuzz Festival & Semi-Finalist in the Alexia French Fries Contest: Time to VOTE!

Marla Meridith at FoodBuzz festival*Hi* everyone! Greetings from lovely San Francisco! I am having a blast here at the FoodBuzz Festival and guess what? I am here as one of the finalists for the Reinvent a Classic french fries competition. My Thai Spiced Baked French Fries could become the next Alexia Foods french fry flavor…with your help.

Please take a moment to cast some votes for yours truly on the Alexia Facebook page now. Thanks and *kisses*

You can vote one time per day until March 30th.

Baked sweet potato and russet french fry for Alexia Blogger contestEarlier this year I concepted some new french fry flavor twists and with your help I ended up as a finalist. There were 20 amazing bloggers that came up with original flavor ideas and now we are down to just 4!!

Don’t these fries look delish! They are. Try baking them yourself to find out. The Thai Red Curry Paste I used is from Thai Kitchen in case you want to get your hands on some. A few dashes of cinnamon add to the rainbow of flavors even more. Your house will smell amazing if you bake these fries. Oh and did I mention they are good for you too? The recipe is right here.

I am enjoying walking around this fabulous city with just my iPhone in my hands. It is fun to take quick clicks of little things that inspire. I love the storefronts. Each one tells a unique and colorful story.

Check out Little Bubbles which is next to Little Vine. It is clear that the Little Bubbles Coin Wash was around way before the Little Vine. While washing your wears you can enjoy some fine charcuterie and cheese. Blissful if you ask me.

Also whenever I travel I take random self portraits. This one looks like I am in a steam room, but I am actually in front of a huge window with gobs of beautiful sunlight coming through. *Silly me*

Here are a few more quick city snaps before I redirect you to vote for my Thai Spiced Fries. The Fairmont SF is one of my all time favorite hotels. I stayed there when I attended my first BlogHer Food in 2009. For some reason they upgraded me to the Cambridge Suite. It was sweet.

See that Teuscher 99 chocolate bar? I needed a quick pick me up before the FoodBuzz events. That über dark chocolate bar is a great way for me to get my sweet on and satisfy a chocolate craving. By the way with 1% sweetness this thing is all dark, dreamy and fabulous!
