I am one of those odd few who sticks to my healthy eating regime no matter what the holiday or celebration. St. Patrick’s Day is one of those days. My eyes indulge in the stunning cupcakes, layer cakes, marshmallows, Guiness Floats, decorated cookies, truffles, candy & everything green!

Folks celebrate this fun lucky holiday with green beer, green bagels and more (yes, my kids eat the green bagels at school.) I go with all natural green from avocados, match tea and veggies.

Come take a look and create some of these quick + delicious recipes if you want to go green au natural!

  1. Some of my very favorite foods are naturally green! Pistachio, spinach (any green veggie, really), avocado, green tea, honeydew, limes.. yum yum yum!

Sometimes I can’t get past randomly adding green food coloring to something to call it a St. Patrick’s Day treat, but things that exist that way naturally? I’m on board.

    1. Averie, I’ll dash over to your blog now to check out your holiday recipes. The older photos are funny huh! Sometimes they just need to show up πŸ˜‰

  2. Marla, I love all of the healthy options!! Thank you so much for posting these. These will be great to try not only on St. Patrick’s Day but during the spring as well!

  3. The St Patrick’s Day recipe I just posted definitely wouldn’t make it onto this list…but I love all the healthy options you’re offering up. The squiggly pasta and noodles with edamame look delicious!
