Homemade salad dressing is the best! The flavors are very fresh, it is simple to prepare & very budget friendly.

Also, probably a great deal healthier than the ones you buy in the store.

Try it on Bacon, Pear & Blueberry Salad.

Give it a whirl on Skinny Bacon Potato Salad!

To make it a dip you just add less buttermilk. It’s that easy.

Have fun with the herbs & seasonings you add to your homemade ranch dressing.

I used cilantro in ours. The classic addition is parsley.

    1. Yes! Sitting here at breakfast eating loads of cheese right now 😉 Skiing later. I’ll look for you with those veggies & ranch!! xo

  1. My husband LOVES ranch dressing for everything. I’ve been trying to find a homemade version without much luck because apparently tasteless = I don’t even know what. But given the good luck I’ve had with your other recipes, I’m betting this will be a winner. I’m so excited to try this!

    1. I hope you and your hubs enjoy my Ranch recipe ~ feel free to adjust the ingredients as needed though. Play with the thickness & the seasonings as well 🙂 Good luck!

  2. Dressing looks great and we all could do well eating a little more salad. That leaves more room for dessert!

    1. Hey Lury, I’m with you – more room for dessert without feeling guilty. I love ranch dressing, so this one will be made in our kitchen in the next week, once I get the ingredients.

    1. Thank you! It is handmade, I found it on Etsy a few years ago. Let me go back through purchases there later. Off on a Swiss hike now!

  3. Definitely going to try this recipe. Sounds tasty, and it could help us get rid of a few of the store bought dressings that are hogging space in our refrigerator. We really need to clear those out. Thanks for sharing!
