Recipe: Pink Grapefruit Margaritas

These margs are the ultimate summer cocktails so add them to your recipe boxes for the long weekend, boozy brunches, July 4th parties, BBQ's and any celebration!

 2 ounces freshly-squeezed pink grapefruit juice
 1 1/2 ounces tequila, silver or reposado
 3/4 ounce Cointreau or Triple sec (or your favorite orange liqueur)
 3/4 ounce freshly-squeezed lime juice
 agave nectar, to sweet. add to taste
 ice
 flake salt for rim of glass
 lime and grapefruit wedge for garnish

If you want salt salt rimmed glasses: Place salt in a shallow dish. With a lime wedge, rub lime juice on the edge of chilled highball glasses. Roll edge of glasses in the salt. Set aside.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add grapefruit juice, tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice. Shake or stir well to combine. Add 1/2 teaspoon agave at a time to find the perfect sweetness for your tastes. Taste and sweeten more if desired.

Fill the glass with ice. Carefully pour in the chilled margarita so not to disturb the salt rim. Garnish with lime & grapefruit wedges.
