  5. My favorite winter recipe is hard to choose…because when I think of winter, I think of Christmas, and my favorite recipe that we make around Christmas is pumpkin roll….but after that, it would be this delicious creamy loaded back potato soup.

  7. Definitely chilli. I make a big pot, have it with cornbread, and freeze the leftovers to eat later on top of salads, on baked potatoes or with buns

  13. My favorite winter recipe has to be black forest gateau. The mix of chocolate, cherry and cream with cake just give me a warmth, specially sine it was a cake me ate mostly around winter when i was younger… i guess it brings back fond memories. 😀

  14. My favorite winter recipe is Pot Roast – 1 chuck roast, 1 pkg ranch dressing mix, 1 pkg brown gravy mix. spray crock pot with Pam, add other ingredients, cook on low for 8 hrs, serve over rice. Yummmmm!

  15. I’m new to cooking, after just moving in with my boyfriend a few months ago. So far our favorite has been my chicken marsala but truly for winter, I’d like to learn how to make a hearty soup. That will be my next goal!

  24. Creamy Black Bean Salsa Chicken! Found the recipe on Pinterest. Throws together in the Crock Pot in about 5 minutes, and is so yummy, the WHOLE family loves it!

  25. Too many to pick from. Whatever we’re in the mood for that night… which is why I have to create a new menu every week, rather than recycling. My husband and I ruined ourselves eating out for years prior to having kids and when we only had 2 young ones. 🙂

  30. I don’t know of any food in particular that I consider a winter recipe. Although if its going to be really cold we always like to have a big pot of pinto beans and cornbread so I guess that’s my pick.

  31. I love anything with pasta! We fix it all winter long. Mac and cheese, spaghetti, Fettuccine Alfredo, etc… Yummy!!

  38. I love to make gluten free molten cakes, this way they are severed warm with whipped cream and the running choc sauce in side once the spoon opens them!
