Recently I had the pleasure of my seventeen year old son taking over our kitchen with a whirlwind of culinary ambition. I’ve always been a big fan of short tbread in it’s most pure buttery form. There are three layers in this decadent treat with a thick layer of buttery shortbread as the base.
