Recipe: Cast Iron Skillet Maple Cinnamon Scones

In a saucepan bring cranberries, cinnamon sticks and water to a boil over medium-high heat. Cover the pan as the cranberries will start to pop & splatter. Reduce heat to medium, stir in maple syrup, simmer for 8-10 minutes. Stir frequently, smashing the cranberries against the edge of the pan. Remove sauce from the heat when it’s the consistency you like. Carefully remove the cinnamon sticks. Add extra ground cinnamon to taste.
