Ingredients

Base Ingredients (Vanilla Ice Cream)
½ cup chilled heavy cream
2 tsp granulated sugar
¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
1 salt
Chocolate
1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Maple Walnut (Omit Granulated Sugar)
1 tbsp pure maple syrup
¼ cup chopped walnuts
S’mores
¼ cup chopped chocolate, crushed graham crackers, mini marshmallows
Mint Chip
¼ cup chocolate chips
¼ tsp peppermint extract
Strawberry (or any fruit)
¼ cup chopped fresh strawberries
More Mix-Ins
nutella, caramel, dulce de leche, m&m’s, fruit jam, peanut butter, instant coffee, etc.

Directions

Pour all of the ingredients for the flavor you want into a clean pint-sized (8 ounce) mason jar. Shake for 3 minutes. Freeze for at least 3 hours. Let sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.

½ cup tequila, vodka, gin or your favorite spirit
4 cups ice
lemon zest for topping

Directions

Combine the lemon simple syrup, liqueur and ice in a blender. Blend on the “smoothie” setting or until smooth.

Top with fresh lemon zest and serve immediately.

Recipe: Creamed Corn Popsicles

If you already love creamed corn then you must try these Creamed Corn Popsicles! Great for summer entertaining and perfect for outdoor BBQ’s.

4 popsicles

5 ounces cooked corn kernels (unsweetened canned OK too)
12 ounces unsweetened coconut milk from the can
pinch of sea salt
1 dropper full vanilla stevia drops or sweeten to taste with honey, agave or simple syrup

Steam your corn. Let the corn cool a bit. Purée all ingredients in a blender until virtually smooth.
Divide mixture evenly into pop molds. Freeze for about 3 hours or until frozen through.

Recipe: Watermelon Granita

If you love shaved ice then this quick and easy fruity Watermelon Granita will definitely be your jam. Simple to prepare and great for steamy summer days!

8-10 servings

6 cups cubed seedless watermelon (flesh only, rinds removed)
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
1/4 cup granulated sugar or agave
pinch of salt

Puree the watermelon, lime juice, sugar and salt in a blender until smooth.
Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a 13″x9″ shallow baking dish. Discard solids.
Freeze mixture for 30 minutes, then scrap with a fork.
Continue scraping every 30 minutes for 2 1/2 to 4 hours until the entire mixture is fluffy shaved ice.
Serve with a watermelon wedge as garnish.

A bit like a creamsicle. A bit sparkling. A bit boozy.

4-6 Pops

10 ounces Sparkling Izze Soda (any flavor) Dry Soda would be great too
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
2 ounces Vodka (plain or flavored)
1 tablespoon Honey

Whisk together all ingredients in a large cup with a spout. Pour into pop molds. Let freeze undisturbed overnight. Carefully remove from molds & enjoy!
