All you need for homemade cranberry sauce is a bag of fresh cranberries, sugar, fresh squeezed orange juice & a splash of water.
1 (12 ounce) bag fresh cranberries
1/2 cup sugar (I like brown or whole cane)
juice from one orange
1/4 cup water
1
In a medium saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil over medium heat. Reduce to a simmer, cook until cranberries start to pop & sauce thickens. Stir often and mash the cranberries on the edge of the pan with the back of a spoon. Cook 10-15 minutes. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
