Timeless Elegance on the Slopes: Black and White Ski & Après-Ski Fashion Trends
As the first snowflakes begin to fall, I can hardly contain my excitement for ski season! There’s nothing like the thrill of carving down fresh powder under a crisp blue sky, but let’s be honest—ski style is just as exciting as the slopes!
This year, I’m completely obsessed with black-and-white ensembles, both on and off the mountain. Whether it’s a chic monochrome ski suit that screams sleek sophistication or après-ski outfits that mix cozy knits with bold, graphic patterns, this classic combo is my go-to. Black and white feels timeless yet modern, perfect for turning heads in the lodge or making a statement in the snow. Bring on the season—I’m ready to hit the slopes in style!
Check back on this post often, I’m going to add new pieces as they are released.
A down ski jacket is an investment, but just know that it's worth it to splurge on excellent quality & style. They not only keep you warm, but many also repel moisture as well. If you are going to spend anywhere this is where to do it!
It's great to have a collection of nice ski sweaters. They are the perfect layering pieces for on & off the mountain. When you buy the good ones they will last for years!
Base layers may be underneath your chic ski outfit but they are every bit as important. They keep you nice & toasty & also look great for a trip to the gym. Look for pieces that have anti-bacterial properties and are seamless to prevent chafing.
Cute, comfy, grippy booties should be easy to take on & off (always a great idea at the end of a long ski day!) They also need to keep you warm & should (hopefully) minimize slipping on ice.
I absolutely LOVE to wear vests..they are a great layering piece. When it's time to peel-off your ski jacket, a vest can help keep your core nice & toasty. For Après-ski this is often all you'll need worn over your ski sweater or cute base layer.
