I always get asked this question “What are your favorite alpine resort towns.” Although there are many and I can speak highly of them for various reasons, one of my all time favorite destinations is Zermatt, Switzerland. The Swiss Alps are fascinating and Zermatt is charming in every way. From it’s carless streets to the majestic Matterhorn that dominates the vista, to the world class skiing, the locals, the boutiques, hotels and the most delicious food & drink. Located  in the German-speaking section of the canton of Valais this is a must stop for any alpine obsessed traveler. My first visit to Zermatt was so magical and it gets even better every time I return. Watch my video to learn more about this special place.
