Looking for an amazing food & wine event to attend next winter? Got ya covered…I tend to plan very far ahead, do you? The Taste of Vail is where you & I need to be next April, 2015.
Please join me for some festival pics. I was going to share the entire festival in one blog post, but there are way too many photos for that!
Let’s start with the Debut of Rosé. Grab your wine glass and let’s go….
There are many events you can attend during this four day food & wine festival.
This Rosé kick-off event was a great way to get started. It was co-hosted with USA TODAY travel & Taste of Vail.
I saw many friends there and made some new ones. It’s super easy to make new pals when toasting with all this gorgeous Rosé!
Debut of Rosé…
The event was situated in a huge white tent next to the awesome Arabelle hotel.
There were about 75 Rosé wines to sample, varying in flavor & color. Some sparkling, most not.
The pink color was captivating! The flavors diverse, fruity & splendid.
The light goes through the bottles in such an elegant way…
Many folks think Rosé is going to be a super sweet wine. Quite the contrary, it is a luxurious libation that is often dry and can even be bone-dry.
It’s a new favorite of mine & you will always find a bottle at the ready over here.
These petite Lavender Goat Cheese Mini Cakes from Batter Cupcakes were quite the sweet surprise…
There were some wonderful savory bites too…
If anyone can remember which restaurant featured this Duck Breast Pastrami with Sauerkraut Slaw, Russian Dressing & Pumpernickel Crostini ~ I’d love to know.
Pork belly is always a favorite! Love it with these bright green spring veggies.
Hopefully I’ve enticed you guys…time to pour a glass of Rosé over here!
