Happy Friday! In my photo library I have plentiful collections of everything. I have lots of food (of course!) travel, portraits & nature photos. Living in Telluride, CO there is always an opportunity to embrace the outdoors & all it’s beauty.
The Bear Creek Trail is a hike (or as the locals call it a walk). It’s fun to walk & snowshoe this throughout the year.
The different seasons offer very different experiences.
Here is Bear Creek as alive as it can get…
With summer blooms…
Hikers from near & far…
A rock garden enchants…people gaze in awe & add to the sculptures.
And the waterfalls abundantly flow…
You can hike 2.5 miles to the falls (about 45 minutes) or beyond.
Way beyond…Wasatch Trail will take you about 6-8 hours to complete. With a maximum elevation of 13,050.
The trail is wide & it’s easy to find your way to the top.
I wear bright shoes that make me smile! There are also turnoffs here & there so you can tuck into little spaces to reflect, picnic & frolic.
Lovers, friends & families have etched their names in Aspens through the years.
Après hike I stopped at Over the Moon & enjoyed Lobster Salad & cucumber DRY soda…
I’m in NY now & I’m looking forward to my hike when I return.
The leaves have started to change, new photos will be taken and lots of smiles to be had. We now have Moose puppy too, so he will be sure to hike with.

Hi Beth! Im NY right now without those shoes…just checked the ASICs website & there are so many styles. I’ll check & report back to you in a few days when I’m back in Telluride 🙂
What a fabulous place! I’m ready to go on a hike 🙂 Love it!

So beautiful, you have the best scenery!
Such a happy place Laura 🙂
GORGEOUS!! I love those mountains! 🙂
They are seriously my favorite place in the world….everyday I wake up grateful!
Marla,
You just made my morning and whole day! I can’t wait to get back…to hike Telluride’s majestic mountains! Your photo’s are so beautiful.
Hi Erin!! Such a wonderful treat this morning to hear from you 🙂 Can’t wait to do this hike with you and the pups!
You’re making me miss Oregon! Living in Asia has lots of perks, but nature trails are not one of them. Asian culture is just a lot different- they’d much rather be in an air conditioned shopping mall, so there aren’t trails, and if they are, they are so poorly marked it takes half the day to find them!
That’s interesting Michelle & not surprising. Funny how the world works & the desires of different cultures. They can have their malls & leave the wide open trails for us to enjoy 😉
