Howdy pals! It’s almost the weekend ~ hooray! Do you have anything fun planned? It’s likely that i’ll be on my mountain bike all weekend. The leaves are changing here & it is really autumn out there!
This smoothie fuels us up for big bike rides, hikes & it tastes amazing! Bring on the Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothies ~
That there is the Double RL Ranch. Ricki & Ralph Lauren’s home nearby Telluride. It is so beautiful to drive through there!
Again, all I want to do is be outdoors ~ quick meals like this get me out there faster.
Creamy peanut butter & ripe bananas are meant to be together. Forevahhhh.
You can make your own homemade peanut butter…
So are these pretty spoons.
Fat free thick greek yogurt adds some protein & stay power.
Did you have a chance to gander at my travelogue post this week  about the 4UR Ranch? It was so fun there & I highly suggest you make a trip there some day.
This smoothie has become our favorite around here. I hope it will become yours too!
Top with some mini chocolate chips or chocolate sauce for days when you need an extra sweet boost.
Enjoy!

Thanks Matt! Had a feeling you guys were peanut butter lovers too 🙂
Yum!! This looks simple and tasty. I need to add this recipe to my morning rotation 😉
Yes you do! Thanks Brandon ~ have a great weekend!
PB & Banana Smoothies are such a staple in my house! But I’ve never thought to add cinnamon and a little vanilla. Genius, woman!! Next time I’m totally trying it this way.
I could (and practically do) drink this smoothie day in, day out, year after year. Cannot go wrong with PB, almond milk, and bananas! Pinned 🙂
I could use a tall glass of this smoothie right now! Sounds fabulous! Pinned!
Awesome Anna! Go git it 😉
I want those spoons!!!
Gah! I’m drooling over these photos – both the foliage and the smoothie! I’m taking a trip to New England (where I’m originally from) in a couple weeks and I can’t wait to see the colors!
Liz that trip sounds wonderful!! Can’t wait to see your autumn photos 🙂 Glad you like the smoothie!
Love this smoothie, what a perfect breakfast or post-run snack!
This would be an excellent post run smoothie ~ especially with the potassium rich bananas 🙂
My favorite combo!
I’m so jealous of your seasons there. YOu remember – almost none to speak of here in SoCal.
The smoothie- awesome. I’m going to try it with cashew butter (peanut allergy).
I know it Naomi ~ I’m so into all the seasons & this glorious dry weather. Took a long time to make the full time move here, but we are forever thrilled we finally did it! Cashew butter sounds wonderful in this. Enjoy!
The best flavor combo in the world. Especially with the honey (for me). Awesome recipe!
This is a perfect smoothie! My favorite flavors!
I LOVE peanut butter!! this looks awesome!
I would drink this so fast!! Peanut butter banana is such a great smoothie flavor!
Yes, it’s hard to sit & savor this shake!! The flavors are sooooo good!
I’m hoping to have a fun outdoor weekend too! I could definitely use some fuel in the form of a delicious peanut butter banana smoothie. And can we talk about those adorable spoons?! Where are they from?
Hi Elizabeth! I ordered those spoons way back, not sure who I ordered them from ~ but the brand is called Green Gate out of Denmark 🙂 The collection is awe inspiring!
This is my kind of breakfast! So delicious!
Going to have to try this, my husband is a huge peanut butter lover!
I put the bananas in the freezer. Having them frozen when blending gives the smoothie an edge.
Great idea + I do the same. Way better than ice 🙂
I use PB2 (peanut butter powder) on occasion. It adds protein without the fat and it’s super easy to use.
This sound delicious!
This smoothie is filled with such creative ingredients. I could see why it would be a hit. Thanks for sharing. Pinned to my breakfast board.
This smoothie sounds wonderful. I remember many…many…year ago our family took a camping trip to Creede–gorgeous.
I made this smoothie this morning and it was great! May become my post workout smoothie
Awesome & I’m so happy to hear that 🙂
This recipe sounds delicious!

This sounds delicious! I like the addition of Greek Yogurt – I find that Greek yogurt is good in so many dishes!
You just can’t go wrong with peanut butter and bananas. I love the addition of cinnamon.
