Obsession! Patchwork Granny/Starburst Squares

I’ve always had a thing for Granny Squares (aka: Starburst pattern) and this year even more so. The nostalgic, whimsical, handmade vibes of this crochet pattern imparts a feeling of happy. We can all use more happy these days, right?! The colors and designs are infinite and the designs harken back to 60’s and 70’s fashions. Don’t let the Granny name fool you, this is a look for all ages.

As soon as I saw the Archie crochet cardigan on the Love Shack Fancy website I immediately had to have it. (It sold out immediately, but check back on it as they often add more to the inventory)

If you want to test your crafty side, then you can make these squares at home and make your own blankets, scarfs and fashions. A great hobby to do on a cold winters day. I’ve not yet tested my skills at crochet, but it’s on my to-do list for sure!

Sheet Roasted Pan Veggies with Feta

If you are anything like me these days then time is very limited. Nothing beats a home cooked meal especially when it’s a healthy, delicious meal all cooked on a sheet pan. This Sheet Pan Roasted Veggies with Feta covers all those bases. Perfect for busy week nights and any time at all. I served ours with quinoa, you can also go with a bed of pasta or rice. Your call. Your options also include experimenting with seasonings. I use oregano and lemon to flavor ours. You can try smoked paprika, rosemary, heaps of garlic or anything you fancy.
