Cast Iron Skillet Maple Cinnamon Scones

Cast iron skillets are seriously the handiest cooking tool in any kitchen. They work amazing on the stove top and just as wonderfully over a campfire or in the oven. I love scones but always find them just a bit too heavy or sweet. These Cast Iron Skillet Maple Cinnamon Scones are a healthy way to start your day without a giant sugar rush. If you don’t already have a cast iron skillet I beg you to go get one now. There are just a few easy steps you need to follow to maintain it when you follow those then these skillets last for generations!

Didn’t think you were supposed to put cast iron in freezer and then direction in to a hot oven – heard they could crack if you do that. Recipe sounds good though
