I was asked by Pillsbury to have fun with a few of their Hero Holiday Recipes. This Crescent Wrapped Brie caught my eye.

My kids had fun with the dough too!

I added some festive cutouts to make it give it more holiday flair.

Egg wash assures a crisp, golden brown crust.

To make it more colorful and festive I added ruby red dried cranberries and sparkly golden raisins.

I also drizzled pure maple syrup over the top.

The sweet, savory, salty, buttery & creamy flavors merge together perfectly. Your guests will grab this & it will be gone before you know it!

I even caught my husband nibbling on some for breakfast!

  1. Your son should become a pastry chef – he looks so at home rolling out the dough! And I’d be at home stuffing my face with this. This is pure comfort food and I love baked brie (with a glass or wine or champs in hand ) :)

  2. Should I be embarrassed to admit that I could probably eat that entire round of brie? I can imagine the flaky crescent and the melty brie. The maple syrup drizzle is a nice touch and like your husband I wouldn’t mind having some for breakfast!

  3. I made this appetizer last night (December 22) and everyone LOVE it including me. My 11 year old son help me, it is sooooo easy to make and everyone was impressed with taste and presentation. Thank you for sharing.
