Crispy Chicken Wings

From the moment I heard that Robyn Stone from Add a Pinch blog was writing a cookbook I knew I needed to get my hands on it immediately. Robyn is a super amazing gal and she really knows how to cook. If you are wondering what to get mom for Mother’s Day, this could be the answer. The recipes are easy, fast, fresh takes on Southern classics. The photos are mouthwatering!

I look forward to trying so many of the recipes. My daughter and I had fun flipping through this book and decided on the Crispy Chicken Wings to try first. Thank goodness this recipe calls for 6 pounds of wings. Enough to feed a hungry family and a crowd. These are a game day keeper!

What makes Robyn’s book and blog so successful is her generous, super friendly style. Robyn shows us how easy it can be to step into the kitchen to make delicious, budget friendly foods. Her southern twist is charming in every way. She keeps things real for the modern family. Nothing is intimidating.

These chicken wings are a classic and a keeper. What I really love is that they are baked, not fried. Makes me feel a lot better about feeding them to my family. They crisp up perfectly in the oven. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.

A few more recipes on the docket are:

  • Oven-Fried Green Tomato Caprese Stacks
  • Creamy Artichoke Chicken
  • Mushroom and Wild Rice Stuffed Peppers
  • Brown Sugar Baked Salmon and Vegetables
  • Parmesan Garlic Biscuit Rolls
  • Italian Cream Cake

I love the section called Southern Pantry. These essentials are great to have around for all the summer entertaining we have coming up!
