Happy Friday everyone!! Hope you had a fabulous week. I’m really ready for the weekend are you? What’s you plan for Mother’s Day? I crave some relaxation, nothing fancy. Maybe just some bubbly, flowers and chocolate. I’ve been having a blast crafting the past few weeks. It’s yet another creative extension that keeps my mind and hands busy. You can start this fun craft over the weekend and have it ready in time for your Mother’s Day flowers. This DIY Super Easy Ombre Jars Craft can be used over and over again. It would be perfect for so many tabletops and holiday themes. I love the metallic silver and pastel combo. You can choose whatever colors you (or your mom) loves best.

All you need for this craft are:

• pretty glass bottles (mix up the shapes and sizes)
• metallic spray paint
• pastel spray paint
• newspaper or a tarp

Step 1: In a well ventilated area, lay down newspaper or a tarp. Make sure your jars are clean and dry. Spray the jars with the base color. In this case I use metallic silver. Let the spray paint dry to manufacturers directions. Let the jars dry upside down.

Step 2:  Keeping the jars upside down, spray the bottom first keeping a light touch on the spray nozzle. Gently, spray a light coat about 2 inches up the jar towards the middle. Remember, you are going for the ombre effect. Let the second coat dry completely.

You are done! Now you can fill your pretty jars with fresh or faker flowers.
