I have always loved Easter…for all the delicious candy, occasional sightings of cute furry creatures, Peeps and pastel colors. I also love making Easter eggs. These were especially fun and really easy too. If you have kids, then this is a great way to keep them busy over the weekend or spring break. (A great way to get them off the iPad or laptop for a bit!)
Watch the video I made to see just how much fun this little project is.
All you need to know:
You will need:
- foamy shaving cream
- hard boiled eggs
- liquid or gel food coloring
- lots of paper towels
- muffin pan
- latex or rubber gloves
- Spray shaving cream into the muffin pan
- Add some coloring
- Swirl around & mix a bit
- Place the eggs in the colorful shaving cream
- Roll them around until well coated
- Place on a paper towel so the coloring sinks in, 10 to 30 minutes
- Gently blot off the shaving cream
- Let the eggs dry
- Optional to paint them with glittery Modge Podge
Now your Shaving Cream Easter Eggs are complete. Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as we do, bet the Easter bunny will love them too!
