Circling back from the wilds of Girl Hunter weekend, I made a pit stop to be pampered at the Four Seasons Austin. I know, you are feeling bad for me right now. Wipe those tears away and come party with me! This place had the halls decked and the season was shining bright in true Texas style!
Let’s take a look…
A hotel that welcomes with a chocolate cowboy boot filled with candied pecans served with a side of decadent sweets is sure to charm!
A hotel that decorates with fancy reindeers wearing high heeled boots is surely a treasure!
Check out this edible village that took over 300 hours to create by hand…do you think they would mind if I grabbed a piece?
Even the spa was dressed up in pretty ribbons and bows…
Clearly I need a pedicure next time I visit. I was too busy this trip having a massage…
Lip Macaron flavored lip balms? Who could live without that? All girls need candy treats on their lips.
My son would argue that little boys need sweet flavored lips too.
There were so many fun things I would love to take home as gifts: one or two of each please!
With all of the busy-ness of the holidays I could certainly use a  break at the spa right now. Check out those homemade energy bars, bursting with oats, flaxseed, nuts and dried fruits.
I enjoyed a few meals at TRIO restaurant. Here are some glimpses of my breakfast with fresh fruit, a veggie & cheese frittata and lots of coffee…
Let’s take a stroll outside, shall we?
It was a dark rainy day. Photoshop actions & filters made it a bit more sunny!
In the backyard of the hotel is a beautiful lake where lovers stroll and people run with their pets.
In the warmer months a good book and an ice tea would be nice on this cozy hammock…
Apparently others find sweet memories here too…
Are you traveling at all for the holidays? Do you have any fun trips planned for 2012?
Happy holidays to you all! XOXO
