If there’s something I truly believe in, it’s the absolute JOY of childhood. It’s so fun watching my kids personalities shine. I love the footloose, fancy free things they do on a day to day basis. I never try to squelch this joie de vivre, as childhood is a super special time for all of us. Looking at life through my children eyes is always a rainbow of explosive color. I always try to make things tasty in their world. I’ve partnered with Fruit Shoot® to help bring their “It’s My Thing” campaign to life…starring my son and his active lifestyle. My son has so much energy (as he should, he’s a kid!)  it can be tough to keep up with his super active mountain lifestyle here in Telluride, Colorado. He is always hiking, playing sports and running around with his friends. A simple game of hide and seek can go on for hours. I always make sure he has plenty to drink. With the combination of the high altitude and sports, it’s essential to make sure he stays hydrated. Anything I can do to tempt him to drink is important.

The Fruit Shoot® product line is from the UK and comes in many delicious, thirst quenching flavors. The newest flavor is Fruit Punch (the one you see my son enjoying here) Both my kids need sturdy snacks and drinks along for the ride of their busy and active days. I love the sports cap on these bottles. This makes it easier for them to take their drinks with them for on-the-go activities. They can re-seal the bottle after taking a sip. These drinks can easily be sealed up and put away in their backpacks. This is way more convenient than messy, leaky fruit pouches, which need to be finished after you open them. A few things I like about these juices: there are no artificial flavors, they are made with real fruit juice, no high fructose corn syrup, you have a choice of varieties made with real sugar, as well as no sugar added, bottles are ergonomically designed for your child’s hand and of course that re-sealable sports cap.

I myself don’t have children but myself and loving 9 year old nephew love to go to the shore and fish in the bay on kayaks, then go for a nice seafood lunch. I can’t wait to find things to do with my 2 month old niece.
