The folks at Better Homes & Gardens invited me to be a contestant in their Ultimate Baking Challenge. So here I am adapting one of their amazing recipes to share with you!Â
Calling all lemon lovers ~ I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am about these No-Bake Lemon Drop Cookies!
I mean what could be better than not having to turn on the oven to make the most delicious cookies! These beauties would be perfect at all of your holiday parties, cookie exchanges & tea parties…
How was your weekend? Ours was amazing! I threw a birthday party for Moose puppy. I made us some of these cookies!
These no-bake cookies are a combination of ground shortbread cookies & lemon drop candies. For this contest I need to make a small change to the recipe. What’s my twist? Instead of ground almonds in the dough I went with ground, toasted hazelnuts instead (sooooooo delish!) A little bit of milk, corn syrup & melted butter help the dough to stick together. Easy peasy!
The cookie “dough” is all of those ingredients pressed together & then rolled into dough balls. Powdered sugar & ground lemon drops add the final touch.
Sure to be a crowd pleaser at your holiday parties & great for teacher gifts too!
