Orange County Tea Party in Wonderland: Part 2

Flowers and vases at garden party.A few weeks ago I shared my experience and photos from one of the most glamorous events I have ever attended.  For those of you who might have missed my first post Alice in Wonderland Garden Tea Party: OC Style go ahead and check that out first.  Then come on back over here to see the rest.  This event was a dynamic sensory extravaganza full of beauty.

This fundraiser was held to benefit the library for a private school in Southern California.  There were about 40 tables at the event.  We were perched high above the Pacific Ocean on the grounds of a beautiful home in Newport Coast. Each table had it’s own hostess and each lady decorated based on the Alice in Wonderland theme.

Fancy Tea Party

I could hardly talk to anyone as I ran around taking photos of all the eye candy.  Every table was unique and reflected the whims and fanciful visions of it’s hostess.

  8. I lived in that area for a few years (Balboa Island, in Newport Beach) and I can just imaginen how “over-the-top” it must have been; the photos clearly show this amazing extravagance and the setting is unbelievable; I can’t believe I left all this to come to Texas. It is so beautiful love the Pacific.
