2 ounces pomegranate juice
1 1/2 ounces silver tequila
splash of lime juice
2 ounces Brut Champagne
ice
coarse salt for rim of glass
slice of fresh lime for garnish
top with pomegranate arils

Rim an old fashioned glass with salt. Add some ice cubes to the glass.

Fill a cocktail shaker half way with ice. Add the pomegranate juice, tequila and lime juice. Shake well.

Strain the cocktail into the salted glass. Top with Champagne, pomegranate arils and a lime wedge.

Serve immediately.
