Yoga.ahhhhh.
When I discovered this meditative exercise a decade ago I was sold immediately. Whether you are looking for restorative, hard core, insightful or a dang good sweaty workout….yoga might just be your thing too. If it isn’t all ready.
Last summer I attended the Telluride Yoga Festival. It is coming up around the bend. What could be better than our majestic mountains & yoga?!
*you can still register for this festival, it runs July 11-14th, 2013
Every year a few hundred folks settle into our jewel box canyon to take in awe inspiring views and to get their OM on.
We get to enjoy the best yoga presenters and teachers from around the world.
If there is only one thing you walk away with it’s that: we are all teachers & students. All the time.
You will walk away with much more than that though.
You can attend up to 3 (2.5 hour) workshops each day.
You can also test your balance & strength skills in Elk Park…
There is lots of gentle encouragement with plenty of big smiles.
You learn to embrace who you are.
What you are & what it means to be a part of this universe.
There’s yours truly getting her yoga groove on…
If you visit us you can enjoy the beauty & great flavors at our weekly farmers market.
Everything is simple to walk or bike too.
Spend time alone, travel with friends. And make plenty of new ones.
To get around you can also take the free gondola that connects the Town of Telluride and Mountain Village.
Don’t worry if you can’t turn yourself into a pretzel. There are plenty of classes that will calm your nerves and make you smile.
Dress in your most comfortable Lululemon togs….or whatever suits you.
See you in Telluride!
