So what happens at the Telluride Yoga Festival anyway? Great question. As an ambassador for the event I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am for this years presenters, musicians and attendees. I always meet so many great folks during this holistic, empowering and inspirational weekend. There will many types of yoga represented, something for all. Also, there are activities and events that really allow you to be at one with our beautiful mountain setting. Beyond yoga & meditation there will be stand up paddle boarding, daily hikes, a fun run, mountain biking, the via ferrata & more. Feel free to bring your kiddos too as there is a free kid’s yoga camp that I’m sure they will enjoy!

An event I’m super excited about is the Intimate Dinner Party Exploring the 7 Chakras. I look forward to sharing more plant based recipes with you in upcoming posts. It’s nice to mix things up from time to time, especially in the warmer months.

Wondering what to bring and how to pack? Always think layers when heading to the mountains. I suggest a few yoga/exercise outfits, rain gear, comfy waterproof shoes, sandals and depending on whether you are camping or staying in a hotel that will add or decrease your packing list. On the event website they have listed both lodging and camping options.

Any further questions please feel free to ask me or the team at TYF.

Namaste 🙂
