Bread pudding is pretty much one of my favorite foods on earth. Savory or sweet, there’s just nothing better than egg-y, bread-y goodness. This recipe looks oh so good!
I’m the same way Maryea! Savory or sweet bread pudding is dreamy 🙂
This reminds me of that last sweet potato recipe that went viral nuts of yours, but made into adorable little cups and with bread, not potatoes. I love King’s Hawaiian rolls. Seriously those things are soooo good! pinned
Thanks so much Averie! I hope it goes viral like that ~ just as amazing & so versatile for any time of day 🙂
First you caught my attention with King’s Hawaiian bread, which is brilliant by itself. Then, the idea of a savory bread pudding pulled me in even further. And this is for breakfast?! The holy trinity of recipes has been achieved. Can’t wait to try this!
ha!! Awesome Evan ~ love it “The Holy Trinity” hopefully you can dig into this really soon 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend!
What a perfect breakfast! Love this dish Marla!!
Thanks so much Jenny! Have a great Easter weekend with your family 🙂
I absolutely LOVE King’s Hawaiian Bread Rolls… but with bacon, eggs and cheese? LOVE! I think my mom would enjoy this on Mother’s Day… thanks!
What a winner combo Maria. Cheese, bacon and eggs? That is when the magic happens 🙂 Congrats on your FB milestone.
I don’t have any ramekins. I’m assuming you could throw it all into a big casserole dish? Sounds absolutely amazing!!! I love everything bread pudding. And, Hawaiian rolls? That’s just brilliant!
I could definitely go for some of these for breakfast!
Um I wouldn’t mind spending the night in that.
Wonder if you could make this the night before and bake in the morning? And if you made it all in one pan, not ramekins… what would be your guess on size?
Hi Melissa! Im thinking this recipe is best prepared at the time you need it. The eggs can be so temperamental. I’ve not tried it in a larger pan.
I think I just found what we are having Christmas morning!
Oh yay! This savory breakfast is a winner 🙂
