Imagine lounging in your favorite aprés ski adirondack chair, you are wrapped up in a cozy bright red throw blankie, the fire pit is roaring, you are surrounded by fun friends ~ all gazing & reminiscing about the slopes you just conquered. In your hands is a hot, sweet & creamy Confidence Cocktail…. Happy Friday everyone! It’s been a long + productive week & you know what that calls for….libations! This is #3 in my Telluride Ski Runs cocktail series…coffee & cream meet sprits in this drink. Let’s not forget the whipped cream topping! This cocktail can be served hot or over ice. You know that that means? Bookmark it for both summer & winter ~ and everything in between! Check out this tiny Fresh mason jar shot glass….I adore it…. This week was super busy, I was in NYC taping a bunch of shows (links coming soon) and I can’t wait to ski & lounge this weekend. This cocktail is a mix of coffee + Disaronno Amaretto (almond liqueur) + Tuaca (vanilla citrus liqueur) + half & half  + whipped  cream….it’s heavenly! So what is Confidence ski run like? Great question! It’s accessed off of lift#12 (Prospect chairlift) hang a left when you get to the top. You will need to pop your skis off & do a quick 3 minute hike to get the the top. Trust me it’s worth it & do it! Here’s a video peek at what it looks like. This is a black diamond run, more challenging terrain & well worth getting your guts & heart rate up for!
