Alaska Cocktail

Carnival cruise to Alaska on May 26th. OMG. I’ve been dreaming about this trip for like my entire life…  The Alaska Cocktail | A cool & refreshing martini! MarlaMeridith.com In celebration of this epic journey, in tribute to my favorite time of day (happy hour) and to toast the snowy mountain peaks ~ I’m sharing the Alaska Cocktail. The Alaska Cocktail | A cool & refreshing martini! MarlaMeridith.com I can’t wait to wake up in the morning, pull back the curtains & watch whales jumping in their playground among a glacier backdrop. Seriously, this trip is right up my alley. The Alaska Cocktail | A cool & refreshing martini! MarlaMeridith.com I’ll be enjoying days at sea with incredible views, delicious food & sipping Alaska cocktails. I will also be participating in many off shore excursions. We start this trip in Seattle and then move onto Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, Ketchikan and Victoria. So many amazing destinations! The Alaska Cocktail | A cool & refreshing martini! MarlaMeridith.com Off the ship I’ll be a glacier explorer, canopy adventurista, and husky dog musher. I’ll also be getting a birds eye view of the landscape from a helicopter. Pinch me now! The Alaska Cocktail | A cool & refreshing martini! MarlaMeridith.com So what is an Alaska Cocktail anyway? It’s a classic martini style drink. The ingredients include: 2 orange bitters, gin, yellow chartreuse (or green if that’s all you have) and lemon peel. It’s a fragrant, slightly sweet drink. Elegant & super easy to shake up. I hope you enjoy this classic cocktail…and I can’t wait to share more about my trip later this month! [amd-zlrecipe-recipe:531]

  1. Hope you enjoy your cruise to Alaska. It is a huge state. In some parts of Alaska it is cold.
