
Over here we LOVE flatbread and we’re super experimental with our toppings. Here’s five of our favorites, three that are great for lunch or dinner: Tex-Mex Flatbread, Thai Chicken Flatbread and Greek Salad Flatbread. A breakfast version, Ham, Egg and Cheese. And for dessert & to satisfy late night sweet cravings you must dig into these S’mores Flatbreads!
Here’s an awesome idea…..How about a FLATBREAD BAR at your next party? Spread out an assortment of base layers and toppings & have your guests build their own flatbread creations. All of these are baked at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, which makes things super easy. Run a blind taste test & host a contest for the winner! So fun for kids and adults.
What’s so cool about flatbread is you can be versatile with your toppings and base layers. For me, thin whole wheat tortillas are best. I’m all about tasting the toppings and a thin crispy edged crust. Pita, lavash and pizza dough work well too. The debate is still out on how flatbread is different from pizza. Some say a flatbread has no yeast. Others say flatbread offers them more diversity to experiment than pizza does. Some say there is no difference at all.
