That’s exactly what happened here…   These Irresistible Fudgy Chocolate Brownies are perfect for your sweet Valentine or any time of the year when you are having a MEGA chocolate craving.   Brownies can be classified 3 ways cakey, chewy & fudge (and maybe more) Do you love all types of brownies? I sure do! It’s all about the chocolate for me. Loving this post by Fine Cooking that explains ingredients proportions so you can custom tailor your brownies the way you like ’em!     Here in Telluride (my house is at 9,500 feet) baking is tricky at best & most baked treats are kinda gooey no matter what. It’s just something we gotta deal with! All good ….     I cut these into hearts, which yields about 16 3 inch brownies & lots of yummy brownie crumbles (perfect for ice cream toppers.) If you trim them into squares you will have more to go around.   This recipe makes an entire sheet pan of brownies. I adapted it from one of my favorite cookbooks The Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten’s original cookbook. I used to indulge in these brownies whenever I was at her shop in East Hampton. Gosh I loved it there, wish it was still around.     There’s a few tablespoons of instant coffee in these which really helps to intensify the chocolate flavor.
