Take those grapes ‘n slice ’em real thin. Do the same with the chicken breast. You can pound it thin too.

Heaven found.

As I write this blog post I am sidetracked by photos & music by Luke Bryan. A good thing indeed.

Grilled cheese & hot country singers are a quite lovely combo. Yup.

  1. Oh wow! This sandwich looks divine. I am such a big fan of savory grapes, especially when paired with cheese. Thanks for sharing a lovely recipe and gorgeous photos too!

  2. I love that you sliced the grapes! And I love an ooey, gooey grilled cheese!

And such pretty pics. The grapes with the colors in the plate; their reflection and the cheese’s reflection and light bouncing. And the old chippy board. Seriously so much goodness going on, Marla!

  3. Marla,
    What a delicious-looking combination.
I know what you mean about a ‘cheese platter under the broiler’–ever since I did a grape, goat cheese and thyme focaccia I started a minor obsession to make a ‘cheese plate pizza’. It’s still in the rattling around my brain stage (garlic oil or fig jam for the sauce? and what kind of crust?) but when I figure it out I’ll know.
Meantime, to get that sweet-savoury cheese plate action, your sandwich looks divine.
    Thanks!
