  1. I love all kinds of cookies!! Last night at a BBQ a couple brought cookies from The Fresh Market. It was a white chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookie, delicious. Of course chocolate chip is probably my favorite and I like those big and chewy with a little crisp.

  2. Cookies make me happy! That is a wonderful collection of recipes. I particularly like the Whoopie Pies (a double quantity of goodness).

    Cheers,

    Rosa

    1. “A double quantity of goodness” love that! In one sweet little cookie. I gotta make those whoopie pies again soon. Must go dash over to your gorgeous blog now….been missing your posts as you have hopefully been enjoying your vacation.

    1. Thanks Maris, I am actually smiling BIG as I read your comment. “Too Happy?!” agreed….granted not sure there is such a thing as too happy. xo

  3. These all make me Happy – thank you so much! The lemon/ricotta ones, especially, as I have a good friend who needs fun gluten-free recipes! And I am so glad to know how good Happy, the movie, was! Looking forward to our trip to Dolores/Telluride later this summer! Nice to escape the Tucson heat! Best, David

    1. Sue, that is so cool! “Liberating” is an awesome way to describe being happy. Finding happiness in the teeniest, tiniest things in life that sets us free. Hope you are having an amazing weekend 🙂

  4. Ok I was totally drooling in this post! I forgot about some of these and thanks for the relinking!

See, I am all about anything I dont have to turn the oven on for AND that I can make with my 1 beloved appliance, you guessed it, the Vita. I dont even own a kitchen aid stand mixer but that’s what I wanna get next 🙂

With Stevia the yummy doesn’t end up on my bummy!

  6. I have to say, your site always makes me happy.

So many great cookies. I love any kind of shortbread cookie, oatmeal cookie or lemon cookie.

    1. Aggie, I love shortbread too. When I was a kid I used to crave those giant tins of butter/shortbread cookies. There were like 12 different shapes. Each one addictive, especially the ones with the coarse sugar on top. Love your happy blog too!

  7. what a delicious array of cookies. each and every one looks amazing.
my favorite cookie is the one hot straight from the oven. never have enough patience to wait until the cool down.

  8. Fresh out of the oven cookies are the best! But I never make them. I might have to try your apple oatmeal ones. They look great and I won’t feel guilty after snacking on one!

  9. I have to tell you a confession here. I’m a sweetaholic. I love sweets! But I also love to feel good. So finding recipes that answers my sweet-tooth, but also keep me healthy? That is one definite way to stay happy! Great post, Marla!

  10. Great post Marla! I must see that movie!
And cookies definitely = happiness in my book. Nothing like a nice warm cookie out of the oven. Or the smell of them baking in the oven. Cookies have a special place in my heart too because my littles ones love to help me in the kitchen and our favorite thing to make is cookies. Thanks for the smile Marla!

    1. Heather it is soooo fun when our kids can help us in the kitchen. Cookies are so easy too as the method is simple. Nothing can really mess ’em up. The biggest bonus is eating them during & after baking 🙂 My kids are all about licking all the spoons from the batter.

  11. What a beautiful post, Marla! You are such a sweet person and it really shines through in your blog. This happy post definitely brought a huge smile to my face!

  12. I am enjoying reading your recipes. I really like your idea for no-bake cookies during the summer. Yes, cookies make me and my family smile.
