Time to begin a series of Holiday Gift Guides here on MM! Let’s start with cookbooks…a theme that’s been near and dear to my heart now that my book High Alpine Cuisine has hit the marketplace. When looking for a cookbook, I’m a big fan of full color photos for every recipe in the book. I also like lifestyle photos, they add a closer peek into the authors world and where the cuisine is from. And of course, the recipes need look so delicious that I can’t wait to cook them. All of these books have recipes that you will find irresistible!

The recipes in this book are comfort food & family favorites, some that are featured in their new restaurant in Waco, TX. I love Joanna’s friendly and approachable style. $17.99
Graze: Inspiration for Small Plates and Meandering Meals by Suzanne Lenzer celebrates small plates and tapas styling dining. Suzanne shows you how to make recipes that share beautiful themes and friendly aesthetics to make meal planning for two or more super easy and delicious. $24.75
Half Baked Harvest Cookbook: Recipes from My Barn in the Mountains by Tieghan Gerhad. I’ve been a fan of Tieghan’s blog for a good long time now & was so excited when she published her first cookbook. Every comfort food recipe is more mouthwatering than the next. $19.54

I’ll never forget meeting Naomi a number of years ago, she’s adorable and so very creative with her recipes on her blog & this book. If you love to bake then you must check out this cookbook. Her blog of the same name is filled with mouthwatering family friendly recipes, great for fall & winter comfort food feasts. If you love seafood then this book is for you, as Alaska has such an abundance of wild sourced fish. $18.29
Sweet & Simple: Dessert for Two by Christina Lane. Love dessert but don’t want to feed a crowd? Then this cookbook is the answer! I’ve enjoyed many recipes over the course of the year from this book and I promise, every single, sweet one will tempt you! Also check out Christina’s blog. $19.00
