4. What is the one kitchen tool you could never give up?
Whisks of all shapes and sizes. I like the way they look and I like to stir the pot.

Not only do I like little hand held whisks but I could never live with out the whip attachment for my KitchenAid. In our house we do lots of baking so a stand mixer is essential. Not to mention we always have homemade freshly whipped cream on hand.

Do not worry, I give the beater plenty of love too. But I love the whisk.

Healthy homemade baked crisp with cranberries and cherries.

A fresh dollop of fresh whipped cream always makes the world a whole lot brighter and fun. There is no need to buy a can when it takes about 2 minutes to make it yourself…..

Healthy homemade baked crisp with cranberries and cherries.

Can you spot my whip attachment poking into the left hand corner of those photos? Good eye! You gotta try my Cherry and Cranberry Oat Crisp.

There is the whip… a little bit closer.

See how much fun you can have with your whipper! Not only is it amazingly functional but it is a stunning prop too.

Stay tuned…the recipe for these gorgeous chocolate cupcakes are coming your way in a few days.

  128. I have always wanted a kitchen aid! There are so many recipes that I’ve wanted to try, but have abandoned the idea, because it looks like it needs a good mixer. A recipe of your’s that I would like to try is the honeydew sherbet ice-milk. Yum!

  129. I just made last weekend your Thai spiced fries and your sun dried tomato hummus. YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  130. YAY! This is an awesome giveaway!!! I love it! I’m most interested in trying that AMAZING chocolate cupcake you have photographed with a raspberry on top. My favorite!

  131. I just voted on Facebook at Alexia foods for your Thai spiced French fries. I just made them this past weekend. They really are faaaaaabulous

  132. Why do I want this mixer? I want it for a friend, actually. She loves to bake. It’s her job, even. But she can’t afford a nice mixer and she was oh so gracious when she found out I got a KitchenAid mixer as a wedding shower gift. I’ve never met her in real life but she’s been a better friend to me than most of the people I do know in real life and I’d love to be able to give her something she would love and use.

Recipes of yours I have made…a bunch of your applesauces (haven’t been disappointed yet!), a pumpkin cornmeal cake…other things that escape my memory at the moment.

  133. I would uses this mixer to make bread, which I love to do. I really like your Apple Pie Grilled Cheese Recipe!

  134. I’ve been entering to win one of this for a few weeks now! Hopefully this time I will be lucky!!

  135. I voted for thai spiced french fries on Alexia Food’s Facebook page for the reinvent a classic! 🙂

  136. I will do some holiday baking with this mixer, and I”d love to try your recipes. especially the gluten free ones!

I just signed up for your RSS feed through google reader also.

  137. I would love this new mixer because I have an old hand-me down with a lot of miles on it…and now I’m finding myself using it more and more! Not to mention this red would look perfect in my kitchen! I won’t have to hide it on the bottom of my pantry anymore!

  138. I just started baking and would love this mixer! Would be a huge help! Have been wanting to try the pumpkin chocolate muffins 🙂

  139. I would use this mixer to make banana nut bread!! My freezer is always full of ripe, uneaten bananas, so I find myself needing to make multiple loafs of bread every month!

  140. I would love to make your pumpkin pie. And I need to win because I’m a total Gluten-free girl who desperately wants to make yummy baked goods right, and everyone in the GF world says the Kitchen Aid is the best way to accomplish it.
I am also sooooo broke right now, a poor grad student, and I would love! love! love! to bake up a storm for my Mom ( who’s also GF) for the holidays and have her enjoy delish baked treats too along with the rest of the family. Thanks so much!

  141. I want this mixer because it’s the perfect size for mixing the plethora of Christmas cookies I make every year! I also make many batches of homemade marshmallows and this would be perfect for this too!

Your strawberry coconut cake looks really yummy!

  142. I want this mixer so bad– my hubby to be loves sweets and we’re getting married in January! I want to make the birthday cake!

  143. Hi, I would love to win this mixer. I follow you through Facebook. Thanks for all your yummy recipes.

  144. I twitter you, tweeted you and receive your emails! I would love to win this Kitchen Aid (amazingly awesome!) mixer. I cook with my 7-year old daughter and 4-year old son every day and we use our mixer almost every day. Because I can’t go with the tried and true, I bought a beautiful Jenn-Air Attrezzi mixer instead of a KitchenAid (silly on my part). It’s gorgeous…but it’s never been a KitchenAid! Last night, we were making a batch of oh so yummy multigrain bagels when my Attrezzi burned up! Bummer for us all…and a testament as to why I REALLY need a new mixer so we can keep on keeping on! We love the Peanut Butter Pumpkin muffins but I use sunflower seed butter instead because of my daughter’s peanut allergy…

    1. Chris, I am sorry to hear about the burn out! Love that you want to ” keep on keeping on” Thats the way to go girl. LOVE that you bake with your kids. Sounds like we both have kids that are the same age. Good times 🙂 Nice adaptation with the muffins. Glad you are liking them 🙂

  145. I would use and enjoy this mixer, as i make bread and large recipes that often do not fit well(or at all) in the smaller mixer bowls. I’ve been planning on giving my current KitchenAid Mixer to my daughter, who is now engaged to be married next year, as it is too expensive to ask for on a wedding registry. She loves to cook and bake!!
I am going to start with the following two recipes of yours: Cheesy Bacon Apple Frittata-hopefully this week; and Sweet Potato Coconut Curry w/Chicken & Bacon-in the near future. 🙂

  146. I’ve lusted over this mixer ever since it came out. Stand mixers become a necessity of life as soon as you acquire one.

Next on my list of the Family Fresh recipes – Peppermint Candy Cane Marshmallows AND Pumpkin Peanut Butter Cookies.

  147. I love your apple grilled cheese – I NEVER would have thought of that on my own but my goodness it’s good! Please enter me for the kitchen aid mixer contest!

  148. I want this mixer because it’s so much bigger than my current one. It would make lots of my baking and meal prep much easier! I can’t wait to try the chocolate cupcake recipe when you post it. They are gorgeous!

  149. I’ve been wanting to make your avocado scones! I could definitely use a big fancy mixer to help me make them!! 🙂

  150. I would love this mixer to make my baking so much easier. I would love to try your apple upside down cake.

  151. I want to make Family Fresh Cooking’s Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Cookies recipe because chocolate chip cookies are my favorite thing to make! This recipe would be a great change to the traditional recipe I use!

  152. This recipe of yours, Chocolate Pumpkin Cornbread Layer Cake, looks like a good one to try. This would be a good one for Thanksgiving. I would love to try the various attachments that KitchenAid has to offer. I’m really interested in the dough hook.

  153. OOOhhhh I could really use a stand mixer. In the last 5 years I’ve moved 7 times, but am stationary now and LOVE to bake! –Jordyn

  154. i’ve been using a hand mixer for all of my cakes, and would love to be able to not hurt my shoulders! The recipe I’m looking forward to make this fall is your Maple Apple Upside Down Cake!

  155. I already have a 5 qt. KitchenAid, but I need this larger one because I’m constantly baking for my six grown sons and friends and neighbors. One recipe that I plan to make very soon is the Strawberry Cream Cheese Whoopie Pies! Yum!

    1. Maria, I agree with you. The 5 qt one is handy for small batches but not the big baking that you speak of. SIX grown sons? You are amazing. Bet you had a VERY busy house!

  156. I want this mixer because I’m still a newlywed starting my own kitchen, and I LOVE KitchenAid! …also, I need this mixer to make your chocolate chip cream cheese cookies! 😉

  157. I have never owned a Kitchen Aid in all my 58 years . It would be awesome to win! I voted for the Thai french fries on FB. It is in first place.

  158. I would like this mixer because my current Kitchenaid is at least 20 years old. It gets the job done, but not without making scary sounds as if it wants to explode! I plan on making the Pumpking Pie Popsicles later this week. I’ve also got my eye on Raspberry Cream Cheese Pan-Crepes and Halloween Pumpkin Chocolate Pancakes.

  159. i want this mixer so I can bake quietly early in the morning or late at night and not get yelled out because my mixer is loud! I would like to make the banana almond snack cake!

  160. I want this mixer because I LOVE KitchenAid! I want to try the Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Pizzas.

  161. I would love to win this beautiful KitchenAid as no mixer comes close. I would like to start the baking with my nieces children as I did with my nieces when they were younger. We created lasting memories cooking and I hope to continue that with the next generation. Thanks.

  162. And there’s that table again. 😉 Just LOVED seeing you in San Francisco! Sorry we didn’t get to meet up again but I’m sure there will be other times. As always, your recipes and photography are making me hungry! xo

    1. Hi Krista! I LOVED meeting you in SF. It was definitely a highlight to my weekend. That table….can’t live without it girl. Gosh I hope you guys don’t get sick of it. Those cupcakes were the first things I ever shot on it. Just have not posted the recipe yet 🙂

  163. I would love this mixer! I have a 13 year old cheapie hand mixer that needs an upgrade!!! I will be trying out your pumpkin pie recipe…it sounds delicious!!

    1. Sunny, PB pies sound great. Glad you are still loving the chicken. Such an easy recipe that you can use for so many things! xxoo

  164. This mixer would revolutionize my kitchen. As I move into the motherhood season of my life, I am excited to make loads of homemade breads and tasty treats with our kiddos. This would make that SO much easier!

And I’m excited to try the pumpkin peanut butter cookies. Love the earthiness of pumpkins!

    1. Kelsey “The Motherhood season of your life” I like that. It is a fun season that is for sure! Baking with your kids is the best. We do it all the time over here.

  165. I am loving your blog. I want to do a gluten free recipe for my best friend and your blog has so many to choose from and I can’t wait. I don’t know which one, but a SEVEN QUART KITCHEN AID MIXER sure could be handy to mix it with…

  166. I follow you on Pinterest and pinned a beautiful photo of the Cherry and Cranberry Oat Crisp, delicious!

  167. I would love to give this Kitchen Aide mixer to my daughter-in-law for Christmas. I can’t wait to try your Peppermint Candy Cane Marshmallows. They will be perfect with a cup of hot chocolate for the Christmas season.

  168. I’m really excited to make your cranberry pear applesauce and for a chance to win this mixer. I’ve been using my Mom’s KA mixer that is over 40 years old. It still runs great! However, it is hard to get myself to buy a new mixer when I already have fully functioning KA. However, it is old and small. I really want to be able to do bigger batches. We make that poor mixer work during the holiday with our annual cookie exchange. My best friend comes to visit for the weekend and we bake over 9000 cookies over a two day weekend to distribute to family and friends. we really could use the extra assistance with a new younger workhorse by our side.

    1. Mariah, 9000 cookies in two days. That is some very impressive baking. You certainly do need a work horse. Do you stay up 48 hours straight??

  169. I posted on fb!!! tried to win one last week and EPIC FAIL!!! My freshly graduated daughter wants to be a pastry chef and would love this! its top on her Christmas list!!!

  170. I would love to win this mixer- I love baking and this would be a fabulous addition to my kitchen!

  171. I would love to have this stand mixer because I have always wanted one for years. I love baking, cooking, and entertaining. I registered for one for my wedding registry and never got it. 172. Oh goodness gracious! Well actually my Auntie is getting married and she asked for a Kitchen-Aide mixer. This seems like the right place to win! but, I wouldn’t be winning it for myself. I would be winning it for my Auntie and her future husband 🙂

  173. Hello! I just discovered you via Facebook and Dine & Dish and Reluctant Entertainer! Good company! Everything here looks absolutely delightful! But, I must say that I’ve already pinned the recipe for the Fall Harvest Crumble. I’ve been looking to improve on the usual crisp…and this just might be it!!! Yay!!!

My roommate and I want to try doing huge batches of sugar cookies this Christmas too!

  200. A stand mixer has been on my wish list for at least the past five years, so it would be amazing to win one! 212. I shared this on facebook because I dont have a twitter account or a blog. Does that count as ‘any other creative way you can think up’? Hope so, cuz I could really use this mixer!

  213. I want this mixer because my current mixer sucks, and I’d love to try your baked sweet potato fries recipe! My husband is very anti sweet potatoes, but I’m trying to convince him that sweet potato fries are just as tasty as potato fries. Herbed olive oil may be just the thing to sway him!
    (Email: kissxmyxkitty@gmail.com)

  214. well i would love this mixer because my current mixer is my own two hands which work great and have many attachments but sometimes i crave a real mixer, and this one is as real as it gets! i tend to make something from your site at least once or twice a month but the most recent was the chocolate banana scones from a while back, i had it marked and glad i did, they were awesome.

  224. I would love this stand mixer more than words can express. I am a stay at home mom who LOVES to bake, however we can’t afford a stand mixer so getting my kinds involved in the process is messy and isn’t as easy as it could be if I had one. (Having a 3 year old stir slowly so the flour doesn’t go flying everywhere just doesn’t happen! lol!)

I would love to try the Bacon and Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms. Bacon, Cheese, Mushrooms … what’s not to love?!?

    I’ve pinned this post.
I’ve signed up for your Email.

Pantry. We cooked for 58 families last holiday season and my Kitchen
Aid mixer saved the holiday meals. We also give away groceries each
week to over 150 families and I would like to give away the mixer to
one of our volunteers for working hard all year round when we are done.

  234. Your Gluten free Peter Rabbit carrot cupcakes sound amazing! Anything with carrot in it I absolutely love. I have always wanted to mix ingredients together by just throwing them into one bowl and turning a switch on! Frosting’s and baking would be so much easier with this AMAZING mixer. The ideas for cooking are endless with a mixer like this.

  235. Seriously – this item has been moved into the ‘need’ {out of the ‘want’} category. I had and loved my Kitchen Aid hand mixer, but a month ago it bit the dust. Anyway, I am buying one of these to me from my dear husband for Christmas {or maybe I’ll win yours}! I will honestly use it at least 3 or 4 times a week for the next 20+ years.
So I would love to try all of your cookie recipes and some of the gluten free items that you make.

  236. I just stumbled across your website while searching for lunchbox ideas. I wish I would have found you during your 30 day lunchbox challenge. What a great idea! I’ll be checking back often to see what you’ve been up to. I’d love this mixer for baking, and my husband has often frothed at the mouth over the Kitchenaid mixers because of their sausage stuffer attachment. I’ve never seen that thing in action, but he would love the mixer as an excuse to buy one!

  237. I would LOVE this mixer so that when I do all of my baking, I don’t have to use a hand-held mixer and a spatula 😉 With the holidays coming up, I plan on trying your chocolate peppermint devil’s food cake…nothing screams holidays like chocolate and peppermint!

  238. I honestly would like this mixer because mine recently broke! I would also love to make your birthday cake 🙂

This mixer would be a HUGE help to me and helping improve my skills! I’d love to try the sweet potato fries recipe from Family Fresh Cooking–sweet potato fries are my favorite!!!

  243. Oh KitchenAid Stand Mixer, how I covet thee! I would just love to whip up some fresh whipped cream (or coconut cream!) in that sexy stainless steel bowl. Of course, I’m a huge fan of your “Pumpkin Peanut Butter Cookies – Gluten Free & Vegan” and I’m sure this mixer would work wonders to create these. I do sub Barney Butter almond butter for the peanut butter here, I just don’t have the taste buds for PB. Delicious every time. If I used twitter/instagram/pinterest…the list goes on, I’d be a big fan!

  244. I would love to have that mixer! It is a beautiful machine and one that holds 7 quarts would certainly come in handy for my growing family. I’d love to try your Parmesan Hasselback Baked Potatoes!

  245. I would love this mixer because it looks like the Cadillac of kitchen appliances…and let’s just say that right now I have a clunker!

I’d love to make the Chocolate Peppermint Devil’s Food Cake this season.

    Thank you.

  246. I love KitchenAid and would love to have this mixer! I woud love to try your Maple & Oat Apple Pie Bars!

  247. Awesome giveaway! I seriously want to try your pumpkin peanut buttr cookies over the holidays.I’m trying to wait until there are enough people around that I can’t eat them all myself!

  248. #6: I want this mixer because I’ve coveted one of these things for years! Plus, I trust KitchenAid’s quality, and would cook up a storm with one. If this was mine, I think I’d made your “Very Blueberry Layer Cake” every day.

  249. I have a kind of noble reason for wanting the Kitchen Aid mixer. My Mom makes the most amazing Anise bread for every holiday. She has made it for years and hand kneads it three times before braiding the dough. In recent years she has developed arthritis which makes it really hard for her to knead the dough. I would love to give her this as an early Christmas gift to make it easier on her to make our traditional bread. She would be so happy!

As far as recipes go. They all are amazing, but I can’t wait to make the https://192.163.193.237/~marlamer/2010/10/07/maple-bacon-sizzle-hash-brown-potatoes-recipe/. Yum!

    1. Wendi, that is so thoughtful. Hopefully you and your family can enjoy some of your moms special Anise bread. Sounds amazing!

  250. I would love to win this, my hand mixer stopped working a few months ago, borrowed one from the church and just two days ago it stopped working, so now I have to buy one for the church, and I still don’t have one, I mix up lots of cookies and the hand mixers just can’t take it. My favorite recipe, I just found the blog, but I have to say I LOVE chocolate and those cupcakes look yummy.

  251. I’d like to try the baked sweet potato fries. I’d love to win this mixer because I have a very old hand old mixer.

  252. I want this mixer so badly because it would make my major baking hobby a pleasure from beginning to end. I can’t even imagine being able to do a full batch of buttercream or sugar cookie dough all at once! For those operations to go quietly and way less messily without stuff being flung from the overcrowded bowl, put bliss! 🙂 As for your recipes, there are quite a few that interest me, but I really wanna try the Maple Apple Upside-down Cake, sounds so good! Thanks, Andrea

  253. I voted for your Thai Spiced French Fries to become the new Alexia Foods flavor, even better this wasn’t just for an entry they really are my favorite of the batch! Love sweet potato fries, love a little spicy kick, I want some now! Good luck! Andrea

  254. My mom has a pretty sweet stand mixer, and I’d love one of my own! I’m just starting out on my own, so I don’t really have any cooking supplies. But I would deff make your birthday cake, yum! 🙂

  255. I would love this mixer because I love to bake and hand mixing isn’t cutting it anymore! One of the recipes I tried was the ABC Frittata. Which was a total hit! I’m so excited for this giveaway!

  256. I don’t even have a hand mixer! Can you believe that? I love to bake bread and have dreamed of getting one of these to make the thick, grainy, rustic loaves that just kill my hands. A KA mixer would make my life easier…plus look darned good on my kitchen counter!!

I looked through your recipes and was stunned at the idea of baking oatmeal. I LOVE oatmeal! You can bet that I will be trying your baked oatmeal recipe soon.

  257. Been wanting a kitchenaid mixer forever! Would love to win or hope Santa brings me one this year 🙂

  258. I really want this mixer because all I have right now is a little hand-held mixer, which definitely cannot take on some of the more complex recipes. I’m currently a student, so I cannot afford to splurge on a stand mixer, but I would REALLY like to have one.

I actually made your “teeny tiny potatoes” tonight and they were awesome! I would also like to make your cream cheese filled chocolate chip cookies.

  259. Oh wow- why wouldn’t I want to win this is a better question- it’s gorgeous! I love KitchenAid! The recipe of yours that caught my eye is the Frappuccino Style Frozen Coffee Shake. We love Frappuccinos in our house but they are just too expensive, especially for a family of 4!

  260. Voted for your Thai Spiced French Fries to become the new Alexia Foods flavor! You’re in the lead! 😀 I love your recipe!

  261. I want to win this stand mixer for my Mom. She love to bake but currently using a very old hand held mixer only . It’ll be much easier for her if she has a stand mixer. It’ll be the perfect holiday gift for her and I know she’ll be really happy to receive this beauty. I would love to try your Pomegranate Blueberry Coconut Muffins. They are just lovely and healthy.

  265. With our busy family of 6 this Kitchen Aid mixer would be a DREAM!! My girls love to bake and my older son loves to eat!

  266. I did as many of the ways to enter as I could! I love cooking and I love baking even more! I’m 20 and just moved into my first house, I’ve been eyeballing kitchen-aid mixers as long as I can remember! I would die if this was in my house for Christmas-time. Good luck to everyone!

I’d love to have this mixer because I’m a home bakery. I’m fairly new and am making a pretty huge jump into a full time. My husband and I are making a true and honest go of this and definitely need a stand mixer to work in large batches.

    Thanks for the opportunity!

  269. I would LOVE to have this kitchen aid.. I think it would be a wonderful addition to my kitchen!! I would love to make your peppermint marshmallows!!

  270. I would use this 7Q KA to prepare all my Christmas recipes!!! I enjoy baking yummy goods for my family and friends… and of course, I would like to try Chocolate Peppermint Devil’s Food Cake. I love your healthy recipes!!!

    1. Omg…Zac that is like the best news ever! I try not to head over there too often so I don’t get my hopes up! Fingers crossed!! Will take a peek now. Thanks so much for your votes. Each & every one counts 🙂

  271. Awesome!! I came across your blog from Created by Diane, and just in time to enter your giveaway too~ =D

  272. Having recently graduated from college, I would love to have a KitchenAid stand mixer as my first real kitchen appliance, as I’m just learning how to become a cooking genius! That being said, if I won this mixer, I would give it to my mother because in her 61 years of life, she’s never had a KitchenAid anything, and being a fabulous Italian cook, that’s almost sacrilege! I would love to give her her first KitchenAid product so we can make more awesome kitchen memories together, and she deserves it after cooking for me and my two older sisters for all of our lives. As far as which recipe she’d make: if I know my mother, she’d be all over the Chocolate Peppermint Devil’s Food Cake because the first two words in that recipe are two of her favorite things!

  273. I bake very often with my children and would love the 7 qt mixer for all of our baking needs~ Bigger mixer means less time having to make more batches of cookie dough or icing and more time is spent having fun baking or decorating cookies with my children~ I definitely have to try your Strawberry Cream Cheese Whoopie Pies~ It looks so delicious~ My children wouldn’t even know that they’re eating a whoopie pie that is more healthier for them~ =P

  274. I voted for your delicious fries…and now need to get supplies to make them. They sound fantastic!

  275. I have been dying for a mixer for YEARS! I have been scoping out some of your vegan and gluten free items and have found a few recipes I would love to try. Pumpkin peanut butter muffins and cookies sound really good to me. Two of my favorite ingredients put together. Will have to try these!

  276. I would love to win this mixer. I am a baker and baking is my passion! I love baking for my family and friends as welll as doing on the side to bring in a little money. One day my dream is to open up my own bakery I am a homeschool mom trying to help out a little with the bills and having this mixer would help my business out tons!

I can’t wait to check out more of your website as we are very much into eating healthy. We are on the South Beach diet and my husband and I enjoy cooking and are always looking for tasty healthy recipies and we are all about whole foods that are healthy!

The recipie I would like to try is your peanut butter pumpkin bread, I had actually made pumpkin cupcakes the other day and my husband put it together with a piece of pumpkin fudge and commented on how those flavors really went together. The bread looked so yummy!

  280. Hi!
I would soooo love this mixer! I love to bake only I have no mixer at the moment as I haven’t saved for one, so I’ve been using mixes or doing it by hand. I’d love to make things from scratch more and a mixer would really help make that easier for me! I only want a Kitchen Aid as well, as that is that brand I would trust to do my mixing!
    Thank you for the chance!
    ~Mippy 🙂
    bunnysmip (AT) yahoo (DOT) com

    1. oops I forgot1 ANd I’d also like to try your Cherry and Cranberry Oat Crisp. I bet my step dad would like that and I’d love to try making my own whipped cream! 🙂

  282. What I wouldn’t make? So many things to make. Well first I would make lots of whipped cream for every thing I bake and my coffee and hot chocolate. That Fall Harvest Crumble sounds so yummy! I would have to make something weekly with my two beautiful girls. We really, really, really want a mixer so bad! My 11 yr old want to be a chef when she grows up. She loves cooking shows and anything to do with food. My youngest loves anything sweet or baked. So please pick us so we can have it for the holidays and bake together. Thanks!

  283. I want to try those chocolate quinoa cakes! And, I want this mixer because I love love LOVE to cook and bake from scratch, but with nine of us in the family, it wears me out to make triple batches of baked goods by hand! My youngest is on a gluten/dairy/soy/corn/nut free diet because of extreme allergies, so nearly everything we eat is made from scratch. Have I mentioned there’s NINE of us? 🙂 I love kitchenaid mixers! Sadly, mine died of old age a couple years ago and I just haven’t been able to replace it.

  284. I would LOVE a kitchenaid mixer!
Then I’d whip up the matcha green tea pistachio muffins in a heartbeat! 😉

  285. I’ve tried your chicken with capers and tomatoes…YUM! Would love to try more of your baked items with this lovely new mixer 😉

  286. I love cooking for my family. One of the biggest rewards is to see the look on my husband’s face after he eats something I made for him. And I can’t wait to start cooking and baking with my daughters. My 2 year old is already pretending to bake cakes for Momma using her little kitchen. This gorgeous mixer could help us bake a cake together!

All of your recipes look so good! But I just discovered a Peppermint Candy Cane Marshmallow recipe that looks delicious!

  287. I want to make some sugar cookies with the kiddos and this would be fun way to start off the holidays.

  288. I already have an older model of this mixer, but would love to give my mom one for Christmas. She does a ton of baking for all the grandkids and has been using her little handheld mixer forever. This would be of great help to her in the kitchen:)

  289. As a budding baker from a long line of baking enthusiasts, I have a lot to live up to. That is okay though, since baking gives me so much joy! It would be so amazing to win this mixer, since I could never afford it, and use it to make recipes to make my family and friends smile. I am trying to make healthier recipe choices lately, and I am excited to try your Chocolate quinoa muffins (pictured on this post) when the recipe is posted.

  290. Voted for Thai Spiced French Fries to become the new Alexia Foods flavor, by far the best option, and still in the lead!

  291. I would love to win this fabulous stand mixer because my family and I are moving to our own place and don’t have household stuff, kitchen stuff, etc.
and I love baking! I would love to try your birthday cake recipe (with this mixer, of course) for my husband’s birthday this December:-)

  292. Voted again for those fries. Gotta keep it going til March. Its becoming part of my morning routine 🙂 You’re definitely gonna win this!

  293. I would love the Kitchen Aide Stand mixer because currently I do all of my mixing and beating by hand! I am so excited to make the Maple Apple Upside Down Cake!

  294. Okay, really I came by to tell you that I like Swerve Sweetener a lot and think you should try it out. But then this little giveaway caught my eye. Me want, me want, me want!!!

  295. I want a Kitchenaid for baking bread, cookies, muffins and pizza. From the Family Fresh Cooking Recipe section, I’d like to try the Chocolate Pumpkin Cornbread Cake. Yum! 🙂

  296. Joined email list, and voted for your flavor ( not only for the giveaway, but it is the flavor I would buy :o) ) !

  297. I would love to win this mixer because I am using an old hand mixer that is ready to die. I’ve been hinting for one for a few years, but haven’t received one. I would love to make your Strawberry Coconut Cake!

  298. I would love the Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer our family has been wanting a nice mixer for a long time but it just hasn’t been in our budget

  299. Voted again for the fries. Your lead is shrinking 🙁 We need to get these people voting!!!!!!!!

  300. I would love this mixer to help with all the holiday baking I plan on doing. I would love to try the Pumpkin Chocolate Oat Muffins. They sound delicious.

  301. I have been dreaming of a KitchenAid Mixer for years!! It’s on my “to hopefully buy one day,” but it’s a pretty long list! 🙁 If I won the KitchenAid Mixer, the first thing I would make would be my fiance’s favorite dessert, Turtle Cheesecake, for his birthday, which is actually on Thanksgiving this year! I know he would love the dessert, and I would love the fact that I made it with my very own KitchenAid mixer!!
Thank you so much for doing this giveaway! SO exciting!!

  302. I heart kitchen aid mixers!!!
This is a great site…would love to try lot of recipes from here…will start with some apple thingi – either the cream pie, or the maple cake.

  303. I want this mixer because I’ve been wanting one for years. It would make baking a heck of a lot easier! If I get it, the first recipe I’d make would be the guilt free whoopie pies.

  304. I also follow you on Pinterest, I agree with you about the whisk, sadly I can’t use mine in my kitchenaid. The mixer is 3rd generation hand me down given to me to start my own cupcake mobile truck business and if I use the whisk I end up with metal colored food. I am in the market for a new one!!

    1. Thanks for your on going support Jen! We are in this for the long haul 😉 Glad to hear I am regaining a bit of french fries love 😉

  305. I would love to win this because I want to be able to recreate all of the wonderful memories I have of baking with my Grandma. I want to share those with my kids & eventually with their kids. This would be such a great addition to my kitchen & it is definitely something I have never been able to afford.

I am dying to make your Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Cookies & boatloads of homemade whipped cream 🙂 (My girls fav)

  306. I am a baker. Literally. Well, maybe not in the career sense but – my grandparent’s last name is “Baker,” and I love to bake! I’ve never made up a recipe myself, just modifications on existing ones but – I think – with one of these INCREDIBLY AWESOME KitchenAid stand mixers – I might just be able to start making my own recipes. How wonderful that would be!

As for Family Fresh Cooking recipes I would like to try – I think that I would like to try the Peanut Butter Pumpkin Coffee Cake – cause that just sounds awesome!

  307. I would love to win this – we love to bake and my husband would love to have the Kitchenaid mixer that tips back (instead of having the bowl lift).

  308. I made your baked pumpkin pie oatmeal and loved it! And I would love to use this mixer for holiday baking for some more of these recipes!

  309. Morning vote for the yummiest looking french fries complete! 🙂
Hope you have a great day!!

  310. I would love the mixer so I can try all different kinds of recipes that I am afraid to try since I don’t have a stand mixer…I would start by making the pumpkin ricotta stuffed french toast! yummy!

  311. I voted on Alexia for your fries!

(I left a comment above as Sharon, sorry for the confusion, I lost all my cookies somehow)

  312. WOW!!! That mixer is BEAUTIFUL!!! That would sure help with my batch cooking!!! Also-those fries look great-already voted! : )

  313. I want to win this stand mixer, it is gorgeous and because I am still using a hand held mixer now, it will be much more easier for me. You have so many healthy and delicious recipes that I like, I would like to try your Orzo with Basil and Zucchini first, I will add the chopped toasted walnut, I like zucchini and basil, they are perfect match, healthy and delicious!

    attct[AT]aol[DOT]com

  314. I would love to win this mixer to make lots of delectable whipped cream, as you feature throughout so many of your gorgeous recipes!

  315. I would like this mixer to assist me with kneading bread or beating egg whites.
Among the Family Fresh Cooking recipes, I would like to try the avocado scones.

    Thank you for this opportunity.

  316. Voted for your Thai fries one last time this morning! 🙂 Thanks for this incredible giveaway, and good luck to everyone who has dreams of winning this gorgeous KitchenAid mixer!

  317. Already signed up for the email. Forgot to add in my last comment that the reason I would like this new mixer is my other one recently died!

  318. wow i’m excited about this giveaway i’ve always wanted one of these but ya no the price is steep for me . i would be able to make my cheesecakes again . the hand held mixers would die after 1 batch of new york cheesecake .what a nice gift

  319. I have voted numerous times for your Alexia Thai French Fries. Love Alexia….had some last night!!

  320. Just voted for the fries again… But there was a big change in voting. 🙁

I absolutely love your blog. 🙂

  321. I always have to go over to my mom’s house to use her kitchenaid, so it would be AWESOME to have my own! As for recipes, I’m planning to try the pear saffron baked oatmeal this weekend : )

  322. I have been eyeing a KA stand mixer for ages, but it’s never been in the budget. I’m always looking for ways to cut down on prep time in the kitchen so that I can be more efficient with my time and grocery budget and this would be a big step! With twins on the way in April, giving me four kids ages four and under, I need all the help I can get!

I am looking forward to trying your recipe for Raspberry Lemon Muffins with Cream Cheese Frosting. We love that flavor muffin and the thought of adding cream cheese frosting to them puts me in preggo-mama heaven!

  323. I’ve been using a hand held mixer forever as a stand up mixer is something I just haven’t been able to splurge on! I really want to make the peppermint candy can marshmallows for the holidays. Very festive!

    1. Ok I’m confused. When exactly does the voting for the Alexia contest end? It says March 30th lol. Is it suppose to say Nov 30th? Can we keep voting after today?

    2. Thanks so much Dee. This voting process actually goes until March 30th. Craaaaazyyy! Yes, you guys can vote everyday until the end of this contest!

  327. Voted for Thai Spiced French Fries to become the new Alexia Foods flavor! Will vote everyday for you to win!! 🙂
