I have been a lucky gal this summer. This was the 3rd restaurant review I have done in the course of a few weeks. See that Crispy Soft Shell Crab above? If I could have that everyday I would. Really.
Restaurant REV is tucked inside the Hotel Madeline right here in Mountain Village/Telluride, Colorado. To have this level of fine dining right here in my mountain playground is somethin’ really cool.
Let’s take a look at some photos….also please check out my review at Telluride Inside.
Every meal should start with a fine REV Cosmo.
And crispy Pork Belly. Don’t be shy, go for it. After a day of hiking, skiing or the Telluride Film Festival you can do it.
Creamy polenta with cheese & wild mushrooms….swoon. Obviously.
On the lighter side…Gazpacho with a dollop of guacamole.
Chef Bud is the Chef de Cuisine.
We go back a ways…had a few emails a number of years ago about blog stuff. We never met for reals though.
Until now. Not only is he super cool ~ his dishes at REV shine. Dreamy flavors & gorgeous presentation. The entire staff at REV are a joyful bunch.
The restaurant is pretty dang sexy inside. A great place for a date…or dinner with besties. A fine spot to sit, linger, sip & dine with whomever you fancy.
Many awesome nibbles we were served. We let the Chef choose the offerings…Isn’t this Lamb Shank the perfect rustic comfort food?
Restaurant REV prides itself in the use of local seasonal ingredients. Look at this beautiful filet!
This Line Caught Pacific Halibut balanced out our red meat…
Dishes are flavorful, unique…but not too fussy. Just perfect for high end dining if you ask me.
Portions are perfect for the active lifestyle folks around here. We play hard & eat well.
We enjoyed this beautiful platter of Lemon Tarts, Creme Brûlée & Chocolate Pudding for dessert.
Hope you enjoyed your visual feast!

I love Rev Restaurant, in fact my husband and I and 2 other couples just ate there last week, and we had a nice chat with Chef Bud. He came to our table, what a great personality he is! His Gaspacho is out of this world! I had that beautiful halibut that you have on your photos. Restaurant Rev has the best food in Telluride!
Hi Julia ~ AWESOME that you enjoyed time at Rev! Chef Bud is such a genuine, nice guy. Very cool that he introduced himself to you guys. I crave that gazpacho daily 😉
And, it’s a film festival this weekend – I look forward to your coverage of this event. 🙂 Even though the weather has been pretty rainy with too many thunderstorms to my tastes lately.
Hi Julia….actually I did not get tickets to film. Been so busy around here ~ hopefully next year. One of our most well attended events for sure!
Mmmm…everything looks delicious! I would love to try that polenta with mushrooms!! Yum!
That polenta was crazy awesome!
This looks like the kind of food I want to eat! Everything look delicious and the photos are gorgeous!
Wow! Everything looks fabulous! I think I need a trip to Telluride!
Indeed you do Maria!
