Romesco Sauce has become our go to favorite dip & sauce. A simple combination of tomatoes, red peppers, bread crumbs, and almonds. This sauce originates from Spain & gives us just one more to want to visit there! Traditionally this sauce was made to eat with fish, but we love it with pasta, as a pizza sauce and it’s also great with veggies, poultry and lamb. Experiment! Slather Romesco all over everything…
You can swap out the almonds for any other nut you like…some other great options are hazelnuts and pine nuts. Feel free to experiment.
