  1. This looks like a perfrect fruit dessert Marla! I love the times when I discover new recipes by accident! I’m sure most of the recipes we all know were developed that way. I’ve always wanted to have a heat gun, but couldn’t find one here yet. Envy you now!

    1. Zerrin, when you can get your hands on a heat gun you will fall in love with it! Gotta admit it’s a bit scary to get used to….but the results are fabulous!!

    1. Thanks Averie! I thought so too. Gotta love the simplicity of these kinds of desserts…char dipped mallows rock btw 😉

  2. Your photos are such an inspiration to me! I’ve been reading your blog this year, and always enjoyed it. Just recently (very recently), I started my own blog- and I have a whole new respect for what you do on here. Your graphics, your photography, your set ups, I know how much work that is now! I love seeing your travel posts as well- I am living in Asia right now, so want to do more of my travel photos. I just need to get much, much better at taking them!

    1. Hi Michelle, this was such a wonderfully sweet comment to wake up to! So happy that you found my blog this year. I really do have fun with each & every aspect of the shoot ~ all the parts you mentioned 🙂 Congrats on launching your new blog. My best advice is just try to shoot every day. No matter what the subject. There will be frustrating times & many ah haa moments. Before you know it you will end up shooting exactly what you set out to accomplish. Such a deeply rewarding experience! Good luck & please stop by to say hello often 🙂

      1. I actually meant to say YEARS, not year 🙂 I probably read your blog for 3 years! Great advice. I try to play with my camera every day. . . looking forward to a 2 month holiday from work where I can really dig in.

  3. Marla, these look wonderful – pinning! Perfect for the fourth of July! Maybe, it’s just my laptop, but I noticed that when I try to pin a particular image directly from your posts, the pin button on that image is shifted outside of the image to the bottom and I can’t pin easily! 🙁 Again, maybe it’s just my laptop but see if you have the same issue too, just in case. 🙂

    1. Hi Julia….thanks for letting me know. I’ll take a look at the pin button 🙂 Thanks for the pin & glad u like the recipe!
