  1. My favorite is chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream but I make it a rule to never turn down any variety!

  2. I love a good dark chocolate fudge cake to satisfy my chocolate cravings, but I am also a big fan of carrot cake, and cakes that have an unique flavor twist in either the cake or icing and the filling.

  3. I love cake over any other type of dessert…it is really a challenge to pick one fave..but, I seem to make southern buttermilk chocolate chocolate sour cream the most as it is most requested .. this wasn’t easy to pic from so many faves..thanks.

  4. I really enjoy a vanilla cake with milk chocolate frosting.
I also like a banana cake with cream cheese frosting.

  5. Obviously I don’t follow directions well. Being from the South my favorite cake is yellow with a cooked caramel icing. Many layers!

  6. I recently made a white chocolate lemony cheesecake that was yummy and I love chocolate mousse cake too!

  7. My Grandma was from Denmark. She made the best recipes. She made the best strawberry cake. I always requested this for my birthday when I was growing up! When I moved to America I learned that my cousins favorite cake was also Grandma’s strawberry cake! I was talking to my sister on the phone the other day and she said for her son’s birthday she was making Grandma’s strawberry cake!

  8. My favorite type of cake is chocolate buttercream cake made at my local bakery! Its not too sweet and it practically melts in your mouth 🙂

  9. Dark chocolate fudge cake, warm from the oven .. OR … cooled and filled with peanut butter cup filling! Mmmmmm!

  10. If I have to pick a favorite cake it would be German chocolate loaded with coconut pecan frosting. YUM! 🙂

  11. I love vanilla cake with whipped cream fristing and filled with custard.
Im a pretty simple kind of girl with the cakes I like

  12. I love Coffee Crunch Cake with crushed coffee-flavored honeycomb candy pressed into the whipped cream frosting….YUM!!

  13. Old fashioned vanilla birthday cake with lemon or strawberry filling topped with buttercream icing of course!

  14. Cheesecake! or Ice Cream Cake! Or anything with chocolate, really… agh, who am I trying to kid, I love them ALL!

  15. Red Velvet is my favorite kind of cake, but I like the old fashion kind that doesn’t call for cocoa – it’s more like a spice cake.
