Peanut butter whipped cream would be awesome as a layer cake filling too.

Mmmmm. Could you imagine a chocolate cake with this whipped cream?

All you need to do to is refrigerate your full fat coconut milk overnight to let the cream separate. Blend with smooth peanut butter and your favorite sweetener.

Top with a heaping handful of salty peanuts.

Got it? Good.

  1. Love this one, Marla! I am so impressed that the PB didn’t weigh down/deflate the delicate cream. I bet the coconut milk + PB combo is incredible.

I’m a huge fan of PB anything and this would be amazing….on anything!

    1. Averie, I thought the PB would weigh it down. 1/4 cup PB to two cans of coconut milk is a really nice ratio. Lots of PB flavor and still fluffy whipped peaks!

  2. Oh my goodness, what a fantastic idea!!!! I love coconut whipped cream, but never thought of adding flavorings in there, they look incredible. Your photos are so gorgeous!!

  3. This post is right on time! My boyfriend is anxious to have whipped cream on his pancakes this weekend and we tend to try to keep dairy out of our diets and substitute in healthier ingredients. He’s going to go wild over all your difference whipped creations! Bet the pumpkin whip was a hit over the holidays!!

    1. Julia, this PB whipped cream on pancakes or waffles will be AMAZING!! Hope you guys get to try all my flavors. Yes, the pumpkin one has been a huge hit!

  4. If I had access to coconut milk, I would be in the kitchen making this asap!
Love your recipes and adore your pictures. I wish I had your eye for design πŸ™‚ But I guess there is a reason I work in strategic marketing and not the design department πŸ˜‰

  5. Just had to come over and see this! Your gorgeous photo on Foodgawker lured me in. πŸ™‚ Love the recipe. We make a lot of coconut “whipped cream” but I’ve never mixed in a nut butter. Yum.
