At holiday time each year, I get to host a Scharffen Berger giveaway with you. I use their chocolates in my baking all the time and we love to munch it out of hand too. The dark bars and unsweetened cocoa powder are my favorites. My kids love the milk and the white chocolate flavors and my hubs is somewhere in between. He is super sweet, but a semi-sweet chocolate kinda guy.
If there is one thing we all have in common dear readers is a great love for chocolate. Raise your hand if you don’t like it? Thought so. Bet your hands are politely in your lap. Now say “pretty please I want to win this GIANT chocolate giveaway.”

That is a BIG party huh! Bet you wish you were coming over here for a visit. My kids were all over this photo shoot. So was my mother in law who was here for a visit. She thinks my job is pretty neat and watched me take these pictures.
Her reward for being such a great MIL is….chocolate! She likes the milk chocolate almond bar. She says the pinch of sea salt makes it just right.

I’ve never had chocolate crepes before and your recipe sounds really yummy with the cherry and ricotta cheese filling. I’d probably add some salty pistachios for a nice crunch and extra color. That actually be a really fun Christmas day breakfast!

I probably dream about chocolate every night! (you know I’m having sweet dreams, at least). I LOVE Scharffen Berger, wonderful quality of chocolate. The unsweetened cocoa powder and cocoa nibs are my favorites (for baking). I love chocolate so much that I bought some special baking chocolate while was in San Francisco and proceeded to eat all of it. I did stop in at the Scharffen Berger store while there and picked up some chocolate. I would love to try the Milk Chocolate Salted Almond Bar. It sounds yummy.

Alex, I eat the unsweetened chocolate on it’s own. My very favorite! I also make hot chocolate out of it…sweetened with my favorite vanilla stevia drops and a splash of milk. Come to think of it I need to post that 🙂

I can’t win because I live in Canada… but wanted to comment on how sweeeeeeeeet this post looks! When people ask how I survive without gluten – I typically reply I’m good as long as no one takes chocolate away from me!
That is hilarious & the perfect response. Just because people can’t eat gluten doesn’t mean their food choices need to suffer. I am virtually gluten free by choice & I never feel deprived. Thank goodness chocolate is in our lives 🙂

My family and I are grand chocolate lovers. I was on Coumadin (blood thinners) about 10 yrs ago or so. The doctor told me there were a few foods that I had to stay away from. Before she got too far though I asked if I could have my chocolate. She said YES I could. So I was happy then.
made the Chocolate Ginger Truffles and they are great!! Also the tri tip cocoa nubs rub I use is from scharffen berger

one of my favorite things to do at whole foods is to scan their chocolate aisle and see if there are any good bars on sale that i have or haven’t tried yet

soo glad you’re having this giveaway. Scharffenberger is actually one of my favorite chocolate brands. My first chocolate factory tour was at the original SB factory in Berkeley just a week before it closed (so sad!) and I fell in love with it. Favorite flavors are the dark milk and mocha.
really want to try your blueberry layer cake since I bought a box yesterday and it’s not sweet eenough to eat plain!
I love, love, love chocolate and Scharffen Berger is a king when it comes to chocolate. Their chocolate is devine. I’d love to try that Mocha Chocolate Bar since chocolate and coffee is a match made in heaven.

OMGosh… love chocolate??? so much so that I actually worked in a small family owned chocolate shop while in high school.. then when older, went on a world search of the best chocolate.. this is true. That led me to literally air post in chocolates from around the world for a couple years to a small international gift shop and chocolate shop I opened in a tourist area in New England. It was wonderful… the travel, the chocolate, all of it… I have such amazing taste memories. I love chocolate.. and there is none in the house right now, so this would be an awesome win. I only tried Scharffen Berger Chocolate once I think… Would love to try it again.

Chocolate is my main drug of choice! I haven’t tried any Scharffen Berger on its own, but I have used it to make fudge and it’s sooooo good!! I’d like to try all the flavors, if I get the chance.

Wow – I don’t think this would last too long with all of the chocolate we use in baking this time of year. But I love their chocolates, especially the 70% bittersweet. Would love to try the one with nibs!
