Now that I have the perfect pie crust pastry recipe I use it as much as I can!
These Bacon, Egg & Cheese Hand Pies will change your life forever. Flakey crust envelopes the most delicious ingredients. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, snacks & the lunchbox!
Remember the the Apple Turnovers I posted recently? These hand pies are their savory cousins.
Make these hand pies any size you wish. I made these on the bigger size for a full meal. Make them smaller, & you can have some super tasty appetizer party bites.
Once you start making your own pastry dough you will never want to go back to store bought. It’s super simple to make your own & I suggest you make a few portions to save for a later date when you need it. It’s so easy to do this when you all ready have the ingredients out.
This dough stores up to a week in the fridge & up to a few months in the freezer if wrapped & sealed in a bag.
