I eat this popcorn as I type this post. Fistfuls.
Just recently popcorn has become a really BIG hit with me. Past few years I kinda gave up on it. No gnarly breakup or anything, I simply had no craving for it. Well that has changed my friends.
Might have something to do with the fact that now I pop it stove top in oil. The paper bag microwave version is great for fat-free flair, but popping in oil adds so much flavor. Oh boy!
This sweet & crunchy treat is perfect for your sweet Valentine…or for any time at all.
If you love sweeter popcorn you can try my Maple Pumpkin Spice Popcorn and for savory/salty cravings try Lemon Pepper Popcorn.
I bet if you serve this to your sweetheart they will be smitten with you this Valentine’s Day. This treat is not sugary and will not turn your sweetie into a sugar crashin’ fool.
Pop this corn in sunflower or unrefined coconut oil.
Toss with some toasted coconut flake, chocolate chips sea salt and vanilla stevia drops.
Some happy crunch I tell ya! Make sure you get some popcorn, coconut and chocolate in every bite.
Hope you have a delicious Valentine’s Day ~ stay tuned for a fun giveaway!

this is such a fun way to dress up popcorn!! i love the coconut and chocolate sprinkled throughout. i would definitely not be able to stop eating this while watching a movie 🙂
I LOVE popcorn . . . and my new addiction is using coconut oil to drizzle over top. Yum. I can only imagine how great adding a bit of chocolate would be!!
The chocolate chips and coconut are such a smart touch, Marla.
Chocolate Chip Coconut Popcorn?! Yes please 🙂
We got so much popcorn for Christmas from my husbands’ parents – so we can have cozy movie date nights every weekend, but I need something more than the plain old butter and salt – this is fantastic Marla! I’m a choco/coconut fiend and the maple pumpkin spice version – umm, hello I’m a goner!!
This is some great looking popcorn and beautiful photos! Thank you so much for including my link.
I am obsessed with popcorn completely- love this variation on it. Happy V Day!!
Mmmm, this looks delicious. I think my St. Paddy’s Day popcorn is going to need chocolate chips… thanks for the inspiration, and for the link too!
About 3 yrs ago I posted chocolate coconut oil popcorn. Hideous photos but popcorn sprayed with coconut oil cooking spray and doused in vegan chocolate protein powder and choc chips. I dont eat too much protein powder anymore but that popcorn was like candy. I love the looks of yours!
I love popcorn popped in coconut oil. My husband says he doesn’t feel the need to pour melted butter on top of it either. Thanks for the add-ins ideas.
such a fun snack! wish I could eat some with ya!
I love that you turned this into a sinless treat! Makes me feel so much better about eating the entire batch 😉
You could not have shared a more perfect snack today. Thank you so much! Got this pinned for future snack attacks. Thanks! 🙂
I love chocolate with coconut, a great combination!
Why YES, I will have a giant bowl of this after the kids go to bred tonight….
I absolutely love chocolate and coconut, throw in some popcorn and I’m addicted!
Love this post! Looks so inviting!
We pop popcorn at least 2 times a week around here. Always on the stovetop with oil. Everybody loves it with a mist of good olive oil (I buy the refillable sprayer and add my own oil to avoid preservatives) and salt. I love it with cracked pepper and nutritional yeast too and a little extra olive oil.
xo, Andrea
LOVE this; totally making it for our ‘Popcorn’ party for the Oscars next weekend! Thanks darling; hope all is well.

Hi Amie! Great to see you here girl! Enjoy the popcorn 🙂
I have become a big popcorn fan lately (it’s great for late night cravings!) and this looks like a lovely sweet twist!
Amanda, very good for late night cravings!
Chocolates being my weakpoint, I know this has to be wonderful. Loved it lot.
This definitely sounds fun!! My kids would LOVE these popcorns. Bookmarked!
Throw chocolate and coconut into it and I’m all over it!
I know it Sylvie ~ a very easy addiction 😉
I’ve been dyyyying to make my own fancy popcorn (you know, like more cool than a 100 calorie bag that I stick in the microwave…), and this looks so simple and perfect! I love the coconut and chocolate–yum!
Perfect (healthy) chocolate fix! Love!
Popcorn is so versatile and it is the perfect snack.
I’m a big fan of kettle corn and extra buttery popcorn! I’ve never heard of coconut popcorn but I’m going to have to give it a try! 😀
I love the coconut in your popcorn Marla – I just made a trail mix for Valentines Day with popcorn, but coconut would have been a great addition!
I have been craving popcorn like crazy lately, but haven’t ever thought of making it so fancy and fun! I’ll have to pick up some chocolate chips the next time I get more popcorn from the store 🙂
Candied popcorn is always a fun treat!
Wow, such a beautiful snack!
Mmmm this is my kind of snacking! Love this!
I love popcorn, and I’m always looking for different ways to make it. Plus chocolate and popcorn is delicious!
