Louisiana Remoulade Sauce

If you’ve never tried a classic Louisiana Remoulade Sauce then it’s time you do. If you already know this sauce well, then it’s time you have a great recipe to whip up at home. Remoulade is a mayonnaise based sauce that’s flavor is defined by mustard, garlic, paprika and cajun seasonings. Tabasco adds a nice bit of heat and you can adjust that to taste. Add a pinch or two of cayenne for even more heat. Remoulade is great as a dip for shrimp, fried green tomatoes, fried pickles, veggies and excellent smothered on po boy sandwiches and all kinds of seafood filets. It’s guaranteed that once you try it and see how easy it is to make you will want to smother it on everything…even your morning eggs.
