Happy Friday! Hope you have a fun weekend planned. I will be in Las Vegas. Yep. I might just talk a bartender into making my favorite new cocktail, this Cranberry Bourbon Martini. How festive would this be for Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s Eve?
I use real unsweetened cranberry juice in this cocktail.
Sweetened it with Bourbon Maple Syrup.
Float some fresh cranberries on the top. Do it.
This drink is a bit tart. And perfectly sweet at the same time. It’s exactly what you need when sitting by the fire in Montana.
Or watching the sunset in Telluride.
Maker’s Mark has become a favorite here.
I love the the sensation of chilly days & sipping warming bourbon.
Have a great weekend! Hopefully you can give this cocktail a whirl.

wow, what a gorgeous and vibrant drink! cheers to the weekend 🙂
I would so be all over this!
Gorgeous cocktail, Marla! 🙂
Wow, this is some seriously stunning photography! It sounds delicious–going on my holiday cocktail menu for sure. My family celebrates on Christmas Eve with a fancy homemade dinner and cocktails around the Christmas tree before we go to church…these would be a fabulous choice! The kids would love a matching cranberry skewer in their sparkling apple cider, too. 🙂

Pour some of this into a flask, bring to Vegas, and share. PLEASE!!!! Looks so good! 🙂 Pinned & see you soon!
Wow, what a gorgeous drink! So festive!
Gorgeous! Love this cocktail, Marla…cannot wait to make! Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
Great cocktail — too bad I can’t have any this season, but I can make some for others!! 🙂
Great drink idea. I love bourbon and adding maple syrup and cranberry sounds even better. I can’t wait to try this.
Absolutely stunning pictures, Marla! And what a wonderful drink idea it is.
Gorgeous drink, Marla! Love the flavors!
How rich and delicious does this look! Love it!
If you want some true bartender street cred, this should be called a cranberry manhattan. Martinis imply gin or vodka and you can drop the reference to bourbon altogether since manhattans are made with bourbon. Nice recipe though, good potential!
Thanks for the street cred Tom!! I did some google research before I posted…and found a few bourbon martinis. Even Giada has one 😉
Wow! Awesome and mouthwatering. Do you actually eat the cranberry garnish or way too sour?
I’ll take three please!
We loved this so much we featured it in our recent article.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas
Warm regards
