Monday’s here & it’s time for a great week ahead! Over the next two weeks i’ll be sharing delicious & simple desserts including this Strawberry Icebox Cake that all have 5 ingredients or less. These recipes are fantastic for Mother’s Day (make them with your kids) and for all kinds of celebrations big or small.
I’m booked to share this cake on FOX Denver (May 2nd) and on WPIX in NYC (May 3rd) As the dates get closer I’ll give you the exact times i’ll be on the air.
In the mean time….head on over to my Facebook page to watch this recipe come to life in my cooking demo! Enjoy.
How cute are these dessert forks? I found them buried in my props..so glad I found them. They will make regular appearances here!
Soooooooo….What’s an icebox cake anyway?
Icebox cakes are simple and fun ways to whip up a dessert in a pinch.
All you do is layer whipped cream, wafer cookies (or in this case graham crackers) and let it sit at least 4 hours to overnight in your fridge. The cookies soften and make it easy to slice into like a cake. So cool huh! You can add berries, fudge sauce, nuts and all kinds of creative toppings. It’s fool proof and crazy delish!
