Well here we are ~ we made it to September! Most of the kids are back to school. Lunches are being packed. Parents are relieved & a bit stressed with the new routine. (Happy Labor Day weekend by the way!)
A good portion of the school days of September I will be posting lunchbox creations. Inspiration for you to pack those homemade lunches. I’m hoping you will inspire all of us too. Throughout the month I will be hosting incentive giveaways including relevant cookbooks & more!
Link up your lunchbox posts & any recipes you wanna share right here & throughout the challenge. Also, you can add these badges to your blog or recipe posts to show that team spirit!
Thanks for participating! this giveaway is now closed. 3 winners have been chosen and are being sent their cookbooks.

I am really trying to be inspired for this new school year when it comes to home lunches. My challenge is that I have two teenage sons (one of those being 6’5″) and packing lunches in little containers or any containers just does not fly with the boys. They want a brown paper sack and everything in that sack to be thrown away when they are done. They don’t want to keep up with anything. Right now I have compromised and have bought non-eco friendly containers that they can throw away in effort to at least get some some healthy, satisfying foods in.
I would love any ideas on how to feed teenagers, especially teenage boys, actually hungry, athletic, and big teenage boys healthy school lunches. 🙂
Oh my!! You certainly have a plateful 😉 My kiddos are little…feeding 6’5″ boys ~ WOW! For me to stay sustained I go with a lot of protein & healthy fats.
