Summer’s not over yet, and you know what that means? Time for more ice cream!
I was having a crazy chocolate craving this weekend & the only way to satisfy it was lots of ice cream. Chocolate ice cream to be exact. I came up with this S’mores Ice Cream because it seemed like the perfect thing to do. My cravings? More than satsified, thank goodness!
Currently I’m at the 4UR Ranch with my kids in Creede, Colorado. It’s so relaxing & beautiful here! Our first time here was last summer & I would like to make this an annual event. It’s about 4 1/2 hours from Telluride by car. The road trip is absolutely gorgeous! I love my state so much.
The hubs is home relaxing with my Moose pup. He deserves a break after how many times I leave him with the kiddos for work throughout the year.
My hope with this ice cream shoot was to get the shots when the ice cream was just soft enough to shoot, but firm enough to look like a supermodel in these photos. What really happened was I took it out of the freezer & started packing. Forgot about the ice cream in my haste. So, these pics are a bit melty, but I think you can get the gist of how delicious this is!
Ooey gooey marshmallow fluff is mixed into homemade chocolate ice cream, crushed graham crackers add to the fun & a classic Hershey’s chocolate bar seals the deal.
Colorful sprinkles are always a treat. And they help to disguise my melty ice cream!
Enjoy your week! Be sure to check my Instagram for more food, style & travel posts.
